Amberrrrr!! Cousinnn!! You have dropped some gems 💎 in my life!!! I tried the comb and paper towel trick this morning and it has been nothing short of amazing and life changing for my wng. The sides of my head by the ear are the kinkiest for me and never match the curl pattern to rest of hair and this has got it right into shape!! And no more scalp burning and peeling under the dryer. Great tips Cousin!!! I did a wash n go Sunday on my daughter and used the Flaxseed and JBCO Eco Gel, which you know is pretty thin compared to the Olive and Argan ones. Chiiiiiile the shrinkage that Gel left was utterly disrespectful!!! Now she’s always had more shrinkage than me, but this was some crazy shrinkage!!! I knew on the first section tho that I wasn’t go like the Wash n go, but just continued cuz I didn’t wanna make her go wash that section out.

I definitely enjoy your videos on wash and gos! So please keep them coming! I have a question though.... do you have tips on detangling your hair after a wash and go. The last wash and go I did..... I lost quite a bit of hair bc detangling was an absolute nightmare. I did keep the wash and go for 7 days. So I’m not sure if I have to co wash it after like 4 days to avoid this? Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated.

After Day 5,6 or 7 how do you prep your hair from a wash.... do you part you hair in sections then “detangle”? Or you just jump in and start washing?
I usually don’t go that long without washing unless it was a protective style. And yes, I just start washing.
