That's so awesome to see you explore my country. I am taking a trip this summer to go around La paz, Copacabana and Uyuni and I am so excited! It's nice to see foreigners appreciate our culture and be so kind.
You’re mom’s not gonna be proud when she hears you call mass a session 🤣 another great vid man. How did you like being solo. Also I think I saw somewhere that locals chew coca leaves for altitude sickness. I think I saw it on worlds most dangerous roads where drivers would chew on that when they drive up the mountain lol
Yep ! Your right! People chew coca leaves extremely often here. I tried it but all it did was numb my mouth for like 20 minutes. I was on a car ride for about 6 hours yesterday, and all my driver did was chew coca leaves hahaha. Guess it kept him awake 🤣. Solo traveling is great, very easy to make friends as there are many solo travelers, especially in South America. At first, it was nerve wrecking to me to be in a country where I know no one, but I got used to it. Thanks for watching !
Such an amazing place. I am reading a book and the author is describing the place. I wanted a better look so I can understand as I continue reading. Thanks to you the visual was made possible. Look like you had a great time.
If you go on the red line. As you approach the top on the left side you will see a car lodged in the cliff. The car flew off the road and landed there. Til this day no one has checked to see if anyone is in there
Voy a ir a Bolivía un día en el futuro. Me gusta mucho esta ciudad! Gracias por una video my informativa como siempre. Me gustan también tus músculos... Jajaja...
Bolivia, Brazil's neighbor, but I haven't had the opportunity to visit it yet. I intend to go someday. The country has a very interesting geography. Congratulations on the video.
So happy for ur trip bro , Bolivia 🇧🇴 is one our dreams, we are planning for January for a month. How was emigration, covy 💩 stuff ? Do they ask u for ur vaccine card ? Appreciate the info 👍👍👍
Thank you! Definitely a highlight of my life. You won’t regret coming to 🇧🇴 For US citizens, Yes, they want a vaccine card, or a COVID test. Unfortunately if we’re American, we have to pay a 160 dollar fee for the visa on arrival 🙃. Overall, very smooth experience for Immigration
The altitude is very high in La Paz-Cochabamba and Santa Cruz are better because Cochabamba is low altitude, and Santa Cruz is sea level-Santa Cruz has beautiful weather, and such beautiful palm trees!
@@mattlvng Yes I liked Santa Cruz a lot when I was there only a few years ago with my mother, and my family-My mother never liked Santa Cruz-My mom always said Santa Cruz is too hot with the weather, and there is nothing in Santa Cruz-After the fact that I liked Santa Cruz in Bolivia when I was there just recently,we heard many people from Santa Cruz to say"Santa Cruz is a city to fall in love with it".In as much as I liked Santa Cruz,I told my mother that I don't see Santa Cruz as a city to fall in love with it-My mother said"Your stepfather who was here would say:FOR THEM,it is!!!
@@ulzhanbilyasheva8736 For places like La Paz and Santa Cruz, a lot of places accepted Visa. Smaller towns like Uyuni, pretty much all cash. Not sure about Mastercard, as I don’t have Mastercard, so I didn’t really pay attention to it. If they do accept credit card, visa is a for sure ☝️
I would say safer but not much safer. I met several people who got pickpocketed in La Paz. Getting assaulted seems unlikely in La Paz but pickpocketing I’m sure happens veryyyyy often
Saying 'America' to refer to the US in a country where virtually everyone consider America to be a continent, not a country, and where the majority of the population actually originates from that continent, is disrespectful. But I shouldn't expect much from someone who isn't even getting the capital of that country right.
Hello, based on what I’m seeing online, they can range from 15-100 USD dollars. Didn’t stay in hotels though, used hostels so take this advice with a grain of salt. Safe travels!!

Hey Matt … this is Jelani’s mom. I am happy you had fun in Bolivia ❤
Hi Gloria ! Thanks for watching ! Hope you are well
The architecture here is awesome, thanks for showing us. What intrigued you to go to Bolivia for so long? :D
Uyuni salt flats caught my attention. :) heading out there tonight !
As someone who is considering a trip to La Paz, this video was super informative! I'm glad you liked it!
Thank you! Have fun in La Paz ✌️

I love the views from the teleférico! I’d love to see Bolivia but will probably have to pass. High altitude doesn’t agree with me.
The altitude was no joke 😳
What's the weather like in La Paz? I'm going in June and don't know if it'll be cold or not haha
Pretty much sweater weather all year round due to the altitude. Even if it’s sunny ☀️
it´s winter 10 degrees below
Keep sharing Matt
Ty. That’s the plan! 😎
Nice video, the capital of Bolivia is Sucre, and the highest city os el Alto-Bolivia...
Is like half of what the airplane flies its very high
Do they take credit cards there or are you only using cash?
Some credit card. Almost all cash. Forget about Amex 😭

I want to visit, and how can i contact richard to show me around
Seems safer than say LA? If I walk around alone in LA or San Francisco alone with camera filming, highly likely I will get robbed and beaten.
I would say safer but not much safer. I met several people who got pickpocketed in La Paz. Getting assaulted seems unlikely in La Paz but pickpocketing I’m sure happens veryyyyy often
Pickpocketed for sure happens most of the time 😅 and right Did you try the salteñas? Did you go to the dead road?

USA. Parents are from Vietnam 🇻🇳😊

Stop giving wrong information about Bolivia's Capital, Capital of Bolivia is Sucre.
You’re right. I’ll change it.
@@mattlvng yeap the capital is Sucre also know by its four names: Chuquisaca, ciudad Blanca, Sucre and charcas
