I mow the day before I blanket spray and follow the wheel tracks. I try and walk the same pace as I do when I mow. My front yard is 4400 sqft and most of the time I have to mix one more gallon to finish with my 4 gallon backpack sprayer. Yes, when full, they are heavy lol.

i just got a backpack sprayer recently. so much better than carrying the sprayer
