Nothing like how when Pedro gets wound up lol
Smoltz & Pedro!! Legends of my childhood, love Harold Reynolds too.
Man. Legends breaking it down. I love it
LOL... Pedro flips the switch at 7:14
And pity the batter -- even Jackie Robinson -- who gets the "whoo whoo" from Pedro as well.
Love it.
These talks don't get the credit it deserves it gets my juices flowing
Pedro the legend...
Jackie and Pedro played in Montreal! So happy about this fact!
Pedro is a legend on and off the field. Id love to see Ozzie and him have a fued
Two great guys. I could listen to them all day long.
Happy Jackie Robinson day💯. Still got a lot of work to do🙏
More of Pedro and John together!!!
Ask them about the entire 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers lineup. I'd listen to every word.
How about Don Newcombe's 1955 batting line. As a pitcher, he hit .359 with 7 homers and a 1.029 OPS in 125 plate appearances.
now thats a fan. Love it
@@mikecooney8422 guys were just smoking doubles in those days huh bad ass
Even the heyday of the Yankees with Ruth, and Gherig, and Mantle...
Even with the accent Pedro can teach and explain the game with so much clarity
Pedro example is pretty much how he pitched the AllStar99Game
Damn Pedro is so entertaining as an analyst/baseball commentator
Absolutely love the conversation! All Hail, Jackie!!
Loading up mlb 21 rn
I love my ERA! Everything was competitive and about Domination!
if everything was about domination that dumb 3-0 swing rule wouldnt exist
Bret Butler reference! My man!
Brett butler?
This is great man. Just a bunch of legends talking ball. Love it even tho its years later.
Yoda says: "To Pedro you listen...hmmmm."
Legends breaking down how to pitch to a legend
Pedro tossed 100 yr old Don Zimmer to the ground so you already know he wouldn't gaf about brushing Jackie back 😂😂😂😂
Lmaoooo
... Nigga !!! ... Laughin' My Phuckin' Ass Off !!! ... lol ...
I just spilled my coffee thanks to you LOL.
Gotta do some long-form content.
Man do the 27’ Yankees!!! I’d watch that all day
What about the '28 Yankees WS sweep of the Cardinals? The yanks used a total of 3 pitchers for that 4-game sweep.
Pedro doesn't have the best English, but is a legend and entertainer
Again Pedro steals the show
Imagine having Pedro's change up and smoltzy's slider with either of their fastballs 96-98
Going to post a question in this...was Jackie Robinson involved with so called dead ball era or os he in rhe live ball era of baseball??? I understand a strange question but...
may have been a legend but his most memorable moment of his career was robbing Ralph Kiner of an MVP.
Did Pedro imply he would scoff the ball?
He's saying he would throw above his head, or at least knock him back. It's vintage Pedro intimidation.
Nah, based on the grips and gestures he did, he implied his circle change, curve, cutter, and 2-seam would be ready from jump, instead of easing them in as the game goes on. And like Torrance said, if he needs the inside fastball chest high he would do that too lol
@@tkillcoin I think Pedro being 5'11' and 170 to 190 lbs in his career would be intimidating asf to me lol I never got it when ppl would say the big 6'7" guys and 6-10 guys was so intimidating cause to me being that big and having those long arms isnt any where near as crazy as a guy like Pedro, Colon, Kimbrel or Lincecum all under 6 feet tall and generating so much power is just ridiculous!
Lol @ Pedro would you expect anything else
Pedro deserved a no-hitter in his career
Jackie Robinson couldn't carry Willie Mays jockstrap
Willie wouldn’t have a jock if it weren’t for Jackie
Belt high and down the middle. Dead men don't swing.
Ima say something that will piss a lot of people off...Jackie Robinson skills as a player are extremely overrated. I get it, first black guy in the mlb... but I can name so many other black baseball players that were WAYYYY better than him.
Yea, he wasnt the best, just one of the first
y'all really know nothing. Dude Accumulated 58 f war in 9 seasons dude was as valuable as trout in his prime.
@@ussbridgefour4666 so you would say he's in the top 3 black baseball players ever?
Because I don't even know if I can include him in my top 5...
@@sc_row Thats complicated though. He lost years of his prime to segregation and probably lost production near the end do to diabetes. Like at his peak he was the near the best player in baseball which is says a lot since the other dude is Ted fucking Williams, so obviously mays was better, Aaron had the longer more consistent career so I'd be fine with that. Bonds is well complicated. It all depends on what you looking at and valuing he is probably a top all time 2nd basemen him and Morgan mostly because of his glove. I wouldn't say that they're are any players that were so much better then him though(I do recognize that is likely hyperbole). But I think this stuff is hard to think of we have very little game footage. Thats the thing about baseball is player that's great and I mean truly great like would automatically be a top five player right now might not be the best at their position baseballs history is rich. I do think Robinson's skill is underrated as you're comment isn't the only one I've seen like this. He wasn't the best player from the negro leagues but that doesn't mean he wasn't a no doubt HOFer and talented as heck. Think of him as Mookie Betts just an infielder.
And personally I find top 5 or 10 list really reductive within baseball. Seeing as theirs 9 different positions and stuff.
