Thanks Paul. Yeah, I've heard such good things about their pads, I had to go for it. First impressions seem great, so fingers crossed it a good one.
Enjoyed your rendition of Heroes BTW. You still playing the guitar?

Thanks Tom. I'm taking it out tonight, so we'll see how comfy it is. Fingers crossed it doesn't deflate on me. 😬

I'd be interested to see how you get on with this pad like you I've heard that it's super comfy but not as warm as the r value suggests

Yeah, will be interesting to see Shawn. I'm hoping what we've heard is wrong. I'll report back on how I get on with it mate.

I'll be keeping an eye out to see what you think of it mate.
Try not to spill any Ultraphase on it! 😂

I've had my Tensor for nearly 2 years and must have gotten lucky - not had any issues with leaks or mold as of yet thankfully. It's a decent enough pad, but I wouldn't go as far as to say its truly comfy. I have been eyeing up the Zoom UL for that reason, plus with it being a bit lighter I'm guessing a reflective mat would make up the difference in apparent temperature for a similar weight. Looking forward to seeing what you think!

Hey Nick. Maybe I got unlucky, or maybe the 2022 version was a bit of a dud. 🤷 I always take a reflective mat of some kind in the colder weather, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks for watching and commenting mate.

Show me the box 😂 looks like a nice bit of kit, be interesting to see if it stays inflated and if its warm.

My first unboxing vid and I didn't even get a flipping box! I was quite disappointed to be honest! The warmth is a question mark, but it does seem very comfy.

4th time lucky??? 🙄🤨........ 🧐I think there are much better alternatives than big agnes sleep mats! Thermarest, Sea to summit, and Exped. I have thermorest neoair 6.9 r value 550g like sleeping on radiators and in the summer I use the same mat I just use a lightweight quilt to regulate my tempreture.👍

Well, we'll soon see if it was a bad choice or not. The main reason I opted for this pad was for the comfort factor. After taking this out on one camp, I feel it is the most comfortable pad I have tried. I won't be using this through freezing conditions, as I also have the Sea to Summit, Ether Light XT Extreme. That is my go to winter pad. I know there are better alternatives in regards to the weight/warmth. However comfort was my top priority here and I have heard some negative reports about the comfort level of some of the higher R Value pads. I will report back my findings in a full review though.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting Johnny. 👍
