great to see budget i3 10th gen still competes
The i3 10105 should have 4 cores and 8 Threads
yeah you're right.. My mistake..
@@NJTechBenchmark No problem. It happens. I wish it had 8 cores for that price😅
Error at the begining : you put 8c /8t for the 10105F instead of 4c / 8t
I have i3-10100f since 2020, watching new stuff coming, but there is no substantial upgrade in budget yet, 10-15perc improvement in gaming by i3-12100 is not reason for me to upgrade.
Also dont like that new rectangular socket 1700 for Intel 12th and higher gen. Heard of some mainboards got lack of pressure issues.
Unfortunately, the lack of performance increase has been true for some time and is likely only going to continue to lag. Cheapest way to get that 10% gaming performance is an ebay swap for a 10700k ($100-150 net, selling 10100f around $70). Plus you get double the cores.
@@barongerhardt Thx for tip, I already watched few yt advices od that. Sounds easiest way. Except maybe little problem not getting at least PCI-E 4.0 for upcoming gpu upgrade (with GTX1050).
I have plan to get new gpu, most reasonable seems rx6600, but I just care to take anything with best value at decent price. Still everything above MSRP and those are screwed up.
My goal is mainly get good gaming World of warships at 2K high detail.
Managed gtx1050 get 2K low detail 75fps(even capped) but with plenty of 1perc low drops.
I had my GTX1050 with previous AMD K8-7660 4c/4t, but it was for 1680x1050, where I played same game on high detail but maybe 20 of 1perc lows, new cpu doubled them.
Saw some benchmarks that 2060s can do even 2K 1perc lows 75fps so flawlessly in ultra). That game not that much need Ing, although new updates bring more details incl high res textures which make it look beautiful.
@@barongerhardt Haha, Ik very well. Gaming for 3 decades.
I have DYI. Its middletower, drive slot removable for longer cards, I worry for PSU. ItsFortron Hexa+ 400W, say 12V rail upto 399W w 6+2pin original gpu cable. Only HW drawing juice is Gigabyte B460 Aorus Pro, i3-10100f (65W), 2x8G Kingston Hyper Fury 2666MHz, WD Blue 256G Pcie3 SSD + WD Green 120G Sata, 1in+1out case 120mm fans on low speed.
32inch AOC Q32P2 2K IPS 75Hz (its budget office monitor, but w Adaptive sync, works w GF Gsync compatible) for my World of warships 75fps capped works ok. MS Sidewinder x4 keyboard, Gigabyte M6880x lazer mouse, its all black color no eyecandy RGB(sure except MB disabled as its 1st install step, xd)
What someone would find unsatisfying, I have found mouse best pad is best single color A4 PVC paper sheet case.
Forgot mention cpu cooler Arctic Freezer 7 X, seems is loose bearing just after 1y, spare 90mm fan not available, either pick same size case fan and DYI or get new for 20USD (5000czk).
Gpu as I mentioned earlier, Asus Dual GTX1050 2G).
Speaking of gpu upgrade, not decided, my focus is 2060S performance but it seems tier level upgrade even after having 1050 5th year. I find rx6600 most affordable with decent TDP of 130W, using typically 100. I had already 100+W gpu with my PSU 400W level.
Just waiting decent price, even those msrp were screwed up, past gF10xx series. Its leaked prices should drop in April/May by alot.
@@gstormcz I think you should be fine with any sub 200w card. Much above that and I would be worried about stability and longevity. Easy swap, if that happens.
For what you are asking the 6600 is a tempting option. Any of the 8 gb vram cards should handle 1440p, but might struggle when you go to 2160.
Lots of my friends/family are waiting for that price drop too. Some are still on 8 and 900 series cards. If the 4080 to release for under $850, I will be camped outside microcenter.
Still Gaming at avg 110 fps (1%low @92fps) in Vanguard on a 6600k @4.4GHZ GSkill Ram @3400Mhz and MSI 1080X @2Ghz Rez @ 2560x1440 with quality settings between medium and ultra.
Happy not needing a upgrade before next christmas the earliest.
Forza 4 and 5 also running well above 110 fps avg on high/ultra settings.
I wish Intel made more powerful i3 versions like the overclockable. So far I know, there is only one called the i3 7350K
a hope so
there’s always i5’s, and some of those are unlocked. current gen “budget” ryzen CPU’s like the 4100 or 4500 are trash anyways despite being unlocked.
@@nathanlarson6535 I'm not talking about i5s. There a lot of overclockable ones, but only one i3 I know is overclockable.
@@Shonade_Malik why would they make unlocked i3’s?
@@nathanlarson6535 Well, some i3s should have some overclocking capabilities.
Thank you very much 😋
very good comparison. exactly what i was expecting.
Tnx🙂♥️
So the i7 is still good enough i have a budget 200 dollar mini pc with i7 7700k and 8gb ram
I think the takeaway from this video is that you should overclock an i7-7700K it if you haven't done so already. And upgrade to 16GB RAM
This new i3 12100 is the best of the year a the next generation kill al clasic cpus what this new cpus in generation 13 is crazy the new i3 8 cores 8 multi proces
der i3-10105F hat 4 kerne und 8 threads und nicht wie in den Spezifikationen 8 kerne und 8 threads(The i3-10105F has 4 cores and 8 threads and not in the specifications 8 cores and 8 threads).
fake test
Next gens of intel we will see the i3 with more than 4c and 8th to beat i5 10gen and i7 9th gen maybe higher image i3 with 4cores + 8pcores 16threads will be a monster for its price
And all thanks to AMD
@@brunotapia8212 yea or else still 14nm and 2 cores fir i3
But i5 7400 Sill op, will be enough for 3-4 years
@@Kiporino If you want to stretch a little more performance life out of that, you can sell the 7400 for $60-70, and get a 7700k for $200 (z270 mb) or 9700k for $220-240 (z370). Similar performance/price to a new 12100 but with out cost of a MB swap. {USA ebay prices, 2022 April}
not 8p+4e/16t but maybe 4p+2e/10t
wtf 12100 so insane
i3 10105 4/8
