The Sharp Dressed drag racer config is a tribute to the band ZZ Top. Their song from the 80’s called “Sharp Dressed Man” and the album it came from named “Eliminator” which is also the name of ZZ Top’s hot rod.
5:30 it's actually a reference to ZZ Top's mascot car that appeared on the cover of their "Eliminator" album. They're a kinda famous American synth rock band
BeamNG Drive is amazing. It's the car game that my childhood self always wanted to play. Luckily, when I grew up I was able to see that dream come true
3:32 Theres an animated indicator stick on the inside, unsure if its in any configurations though. They're called "Signal Controls" in the parts editor.
Iirc Indicators only became a thing in the last year or two of the Nine's production run. So they are an optional extra. You need to add the signal controls to the steering column, indicators to the headlights, and wiring to the tail lights. With the tail lights, since it was before standardization you can have the indicator light up either the brake light like newer American cars, or light up the reverse light which isn't done anywhere anymore as far as I know.
I noticed there were no signals on pretty much any config. Turns out they're just optional as is more than 1 taillight. You have to select it in the steering column, select the wiring, and then choose where you want them to be. It makes sense for the time as that was the most of the technology. Very near detail
The BeamNG devs absolutely cooked with this one, vintage car enthusiasts are gonna eat good with this update, the new halogen light physics is gonna look fire on old school wig wag emergency headlights if those are added
That grille is definitely inspired by 1930s Buick grilles, alot of Bruckell vehicles are inspired by Buick/GM vehicles, or Chrysler/Dodge for the Legran and Bastion. The body of the Bruckell Nine looks inspired by the 2nd generation Pontiac Model 603.
I think since bruckell is the dodge equivalent in beamng, from my research it could also be a 1930s dodge brother dc 8 sedan and the dodge dd 4 sedan. Depending on if it's the one with the i4 or the v8. Thank you for another awesome video my friend.
I am so hyped for prewar vehicles in games, especially being in Beam, no other games really get the feeling of straight axle steering right, im excited to see how Beam feels
Might have to build it but im upset there's no early Nascar before Nascar or a Classic Dirt Track build with a hand-built cage and outer cage and frame and things
@riplaygames1711 Yeah, one of my favorite configs, but it would be cool to have of era or designed on era liverys on a stripped down and out Nine and given some specialty dirt track tires or whatever guys used in those days (think they were modified street tires)
you can put on light indicators in vehicle config, for front its in headlights and at rear, you need to go to fenders, then taillights and you can use a new "wiring" to make them indicators... complicated i know
Jack, why don't you use the smaller wheel that you have in some of your future BeamNG videos? It's much easier to send things sideways with a smaller diameter, truck wheel definitely wasn't designed for lads who smack their drift cars into traffic barriers😅
I love this sponatanious video😅 Kissing the wall in a 30's drag car, while getting fit with the moza truck wheel. I'd definetly like more ets2 content, but man. You make me smile every time you post!
The car that it might be based off of might be a ford. Due to the flat head I4. And the flat head v8. The mind 1930s chevy cars had a overhead valve engine.
0.35 Weather wipers a new modern supercar for the scintilla a new old supercar for the bolide another modern muscle car coupe this time some ideas for me
They're not deleted, just left in the previous game version folder. Start the game, in the launcher select Manage user folder, then Open in browser, go up a level, select 0.33, copy/move the mods folder, go back to 0.34 & paste it there (do the same procedure for your car configs you had made manually, as they might also not be moved)
The Sharp Dressed drag racer config is a tribute to the band ZZ Top. Their song from the 80’s called “Sharp Dressed Man” and the album it came from named “Eliminator” which is also the name of ZZ Top’s hot rod.
The sundown coupe is also a reference to the Ford in American Graffiti
Sharp Dressed Man happens to be my favorite song from ZZ Top
@TrentJordan3198 the bootlegger description is a lyric of the song "Copperhead Road" about bootlegging
Ye funny reference
That's awesome!
Same, i remember when i was 10yo and and watched beamng vids, i didnt even knew that was a game. At that time i couldn't even understand english lmao.
Same, as a kid, i watched lots of beamng vids, and now, i have it on my pc
They need to give you Muye status so you can give us a preview
Fingers crossed 🤞
they should give muye simulatoradventures status
Yes… muye content is lacking for quite some time, always the same….
"It handles ok"
Immediately loses control and crashes
0:30 It's based on a Ford Model B, the first mass produced car with a V8 option. The Eagle only came with an inline 6, no V8.
That makes sense. Why else would the game have a V8 option if it wasn't period correct.
@@twistedyogert Yeah, but can you imagine what impact it had? The rumbling sound of a V8 while most cars at the time sounded like old tractors.
The update is like mafia 2
Looks like the Schubert Extra Six Fordor from Mafia 1. I used to play that game a bit too much.
Beamng devs been cooking they gotta have a break🔥.
I believe the main reason this car was added, was because the devs thought beamng needed a hot rod, and well it did
Btw the single windshield wiper is actually modelled and is detachable. I checked earlier today as i was doing crash tests.
3:32 Theres an animated indicator stick on the inside, unsure if its in any configurations though. They're called "Signal Controls" in the parts editor.
Weird!

bro these devs dont get sleep someone tell them to sleep now bro they are more sleep derived than my braincell
5:46 Noticed the forza motorsport 4 song
The horn is everything
Im really excited for the rally feature! although Im wondering if they should work on career more than rally since thats newer than career.
Hello , jack you written 0.33 on the thumnail. Sorry for not the best english
Fixed!

i do really hope we get more cars like this in beam, i love old cars so much
Me too!
The BeamNG devs absolutely cooked with this one, vintage car enthusiasts are gonna eat good with this update, the new halogen light physics is gonna look fire on old school wig wag emergency headlights if those are added

The body of the Bruckell Nine looks inspired by the 2nd generation Pontiac Model 603.
Im sad that people dont recognize the Eliminator Coupe from ZZ Top, such an iconic car from a great band
I hope BeamNG team adds rain and storm conditions 😊
The Bruckell Nine is the perfect car to drive with the 1927 Auriga Heron
I think since bruckell is the dodge equivalent in beamng, from my research it could also be a 1930s dodge brother dc 8 sedan and the dodge dd 4 sedan. Depending on if it's the one with the i4 or the v8. Thank you for another awesome video my friend.
It is based on 4 cars:
CA
Volo
PB
Model B
this gives me a question, did bruckell make tanks in ww2? and when will we get a bruckell tank?
I am so hyped for prewar vehicles in games, especially being in Beam, no other games really get the feeling of straight axle steering right, im excited to see how Beam feels
Ive noticed that steering slop is often present on many trucks. from what ive driven there was some on as new as 2005 volvo fl and on a sisu XA-180.
Yeah I think this is really just a mix of all the big three’s cars from 1933.
You can add turn signals to any config you want using the parts selector. You can also change the steering column so it has a turn signal stalk.
Might have to build it but im upset there's no early Nascar before Nascar or a Classic Dirt Track build with a hand-built cage and outer cage and frame and things
@chevymontmarlo there is a bootlegger config, which is where nascar originated, so basically the same thing
@riplaygames1711 Yeah, one of my favorite configs, but it would be cool to have of era or designed on era liverys on a stripped down and out Nine and given some specialty dirt track tires or whatever guys used in those days (think they were modified street tires)
i can realy feel the optimisation in 0.33 i got like 45fps now i get 75fps
you can put on light indicators in vehicle config, for front its in headlights and at rear, you need to go to fenders, then taillights and you can use a new "wiring" to make them indicators... complicated i know
You have to chop the exhaust off to hear it but maaaaaan does that flathead V8 sound good. Part of me does wish we got a Chysler Sidevalve six, too.
Jack, why don't you use the smaller wheel that you have in some of your future BeamNG videos? It's much easier to send things sideways with a smaller diameter, truck wheel definitely wasn't designed for lads who smack their drift cars into traffic barriers😅
It isn’t. I had a closer look. No engine mounts. Philips’s wasn’t invented yet. Also the gear stick just sticks out the floor with no hole for it.
Yea noticed the weird stick movement near the floor
i believe the car is most likely not a chevy due to the fact chevy didn't produce i4 engine after 1928 until 1961
You're right in saying it's not a Chevy as it's a Bruckell
Its a chevy with engine choices from ford
It looks kinda like a 1930s Dodge because Bruckell is BeamNG version of Dodge.
It does look like a 1933 dodge eight DO I think it might just be a combination of 1933 cars.
The 2-door looks like a ford model A
Did you know that the Grand Marshall’s V8 has a much different beefier engine sound? It sounds amazing!
I love this sponatanious video😅
Kissing the wall in a 30's drag car, while getting fit with the moza truck wheel. I'd definetly like more ets2 content, but man. You make me smile every time you post!
I notice that the Gavril Gran Marshall sounds different in this new update. Has anyone notice it? Sounds very good.
If you have ever watched legends racing in the uk the van model kinda looks like them
Have a nice day!
I love how you commented on the handling of the hot rod and then instantly hit a bridge abutment. :p
3:48 cole Phelps badge 12 47
5:49 potential spongebob reference?
I got 1593 as score at first try
“Vintage halogen” was savage!
I love how you can use the Wheel covers as tires its hilarious
Joooo Amazing Job❤ I domt even know that you can Change Color from the Cown and Other Things in that update. Keep it up🎉
The car that it might be based off of might be a ford. Due to the flat head I4. And the flat head v8. The mind 1930s chevy cars had a overhead valve engine.
It mostly reminds me of Toyota's first car in 1935 the ab and a 1
what steering wheel are u using at 1:44?
You were very close on the model of car it’s a 1934 Chevy sedan 👍
Thanks for the update! I’ll be playing it later!
Can’t wait to drive one tomorrow!
0.35
Weather
wipers
a new modern supercar for the scintilla
a new old supercar for the bolide
another modern muscle car coupe this time
some ideas for me
Do you record videos in vr?
love to see more of these cars and maybe older
You should really use a smaller wheel when driving sports cars or drifting
That looks more like a 32/33 deuce coupe
Reminds me of the bugatti type 57, Love it!
casually exactly how my truck handles...
Even beamngdrive themselves are showing thst car on youtube ❤
I think we gonna see more hot rods with rat fink skins
I wish I could play beamng I am grounded right now lol
First, it looks like the crash hard classic, and it will fit te hank model 8 when it comes out
What's the best camara to get for TrackIR?
to me it looks like a Ford Model A 1930s
Idk about the engine sound, sounds like the mobile game i played when i was 12 tbh
That's car look like ZiS m1 and Ford elminator son...
Just got beamng and downloaded the Audi Q8 gonna download this too, keep it up bro
Thanks! Enjoy the game
Man i love this car 🔥
Beamng in his mafia arc
new lighting is so good
I appreciate the forza Motorsport 4 menu music in the background ❤
Hey. I just wanted to inform you there are indicators but you have to put them on yourself
What’s the shortcut to turn on sirens? I always use the menu to turn on the lights but haven’t figured out sirens
Shift+N
I just wish for the engine to sound less like a mobile game
What a nice update...
I would go play the update but I can’t because I’m sick and my mom won’t let me play :(
@J99_music999 nobody cares you chinese boy
Nah we got the beamng drive version of the gta5 hot knife before gta6

Safety Features:N/A
hey great video by any chance do you know why beamng deleted all my mods i have like 400 and there all gone
All mods get deactivated in your game after a major game update
They're not deleted, just left in the previous game version folder. Start the game, in the launcher select Manage user folder, then Open in browser, go up a level, select 0.33, copy/move the mods folder, go back to 0.34 & paste it there (do the same procedure for your car configs you had made manually, as they might also not be moved)
@ thanks bro just tried this and it work it was because i didnt have enough storage
Its beautiful
how can u only have 48 300? subs, keep it up
Thanks! I'll try my best :)
thas an unexpected car
Casual forza motorsport 4 music in background lol
Maybe a un populair opinion, but i think the i4 sound is not so great. Sounds like a mobile game
