Cusco power brace is a better brace!!!! But you will have to research if it will fit with you're cooler!!! My cusco power brace fit tightly around my Plazmaman swept back intercooler.
I feel your pain. My brand new STM lower intercooler pipe came off on the 1st dyno pull. Smashed the acd bracket almost pierced a hole into it 👎 im not a fan of the clamps and how tight you need to get them for the aluminum. Kinda sketch. If mine pop off again my buddy Said any good fabricator can v band that whole setup.

I was always told that tbolt clamps were the way to go by other enthusiasts but the risk was always possibly crushing the piping. I took my car to Andy at ASM motorsports and he actually advised me to use high quality stainless worm gear clamps instead as you'll not crush the piping and get a better seal. AMS actually has a pdf file if you Google t bolt clamps vs worm gear clamps as well. Cheap worm gear clamps break or the band distorts. With good quality worm gear clamps you can tighten it down onto the silicone hoses and really bury it if you overtighten them. Only downfall is that they aren't as pretty but orientating them correctly and trimming excess band material helps.
What's better than worm clamps and t bolt clamps?? Murray Clamps! They are expensive but worth it for that coupler that keeps blowing off and a good alternative if you're afraid to break a throttle body or distort a aluminum intercooler pipe.
@@CJ2X I've seen 700+ hp evos run them and hold. Even the alpha GT-R turbo kits use worm clamps. Maybe I'm just cheap too lol... The vibrant clamps are very cool and pretty if you go that route.

Worm clamps would work if you’re running low boost. I’ve been tempted to just run vibrant clamps, but they are so pricey.
