This story is very disturbing. Lot offered up his daughters, to be violated by a gang of men, in order to appease their lust thrist. Literally attempting to sacrifice their virtue. Ironically enough he ended up being violated by those same girls and fathered 2 nations that worshipped gods, who demanded that parents sacrifice their children in order to appease them.
@@BatYAH2015 Lot did offer up his daughters to the men who had surrounded his home, in hopes that they would not harm the angels who were there to warn him to leave the city. And it is also true that his daughters came up with the plan to get their own father drunk so they could commit incest with him and bear his children. Which part of her post are you saying is wrong?

She may have looked back to see if all people were truly being destroyed because she had become fond of some of them. We will never know the reason she looked back but surely she had bonded with other women and hoped in her heart they may have been rescued also. She didn't truly understand why only they were escaping and nobody else.

@@antdes4933 He asked our opinion about why we thought she looked back. Only God knows why she looked back. I was showing there could be many reasons she looked back. Whatever her reason she disobeyed God and turned into a pillar of salt that ultimately caused her daughters to have children by their father. Our actions in life for whatever reason can effect many other lives and we should be obedient to God's word and not to our own understanding. That is what we should take from this story. Not why she looked back.
It's called being human and trying to understand why she disobeyed. At the end of the day we're human and trying to walk this out in real time and God big enough to understand our hearts so stop judging acting like you have the right to do so. We only know in part
Good true story of the bible, but I think there's just a little bit of speculation added regarding the story, especially with the daughter's of Lot having intercourse with their father, we really don't know their true motives, I personally believe they just wanted to keep their father's lineage going.
This history of Lot and his daughters getting him drunk and being with there own father to have children because they thought that there weren't any other m3n in existence anymore always bothered and disgusted me to no end Civilization would've ended with us if I was in a situation like that before I'll lay with my father Uugghhh 🤮🤢
Genesis 19-12 tells us that Lot had sons prior of the destruction of Sodom. We know that the number of righteous inside the city is fewer than 10. If we consider it is 9 than Lot had 6 sons and that reminds me the 6 sons of Queturah appearing nearly at the same time
