@@TMoDDD Doesn't matter in gameplay. In gameplay, any character can whoop anyone's ass six ways to Sunday. It's just like DMC4, where you can completely style all over Dante, but the game will still pretend like Nero had trouble.

God this highlights how Dante has infinite super armor when he's attacking. Ironically you can knock him out of sin dt, but regular form he'll keep swinging at air for 10 seconds straight no matter what

I love that this isnt a perfect S Rank no damage fight and that its so even down to the last magic pixel of HP and it ends on you shooting when it says Pull my Devil Trigger. If I didnt know any better Id think that was planned

This version of Dante is slightly different from his playable counterpart, he can transform into sin devil trigger instantly, and when naming his fighting styles, he uses voice clips of DMC 4

Nero is quarter demon but he can reach greater strengths due to him having more human blood inside. Plus vergil himself accepted his existence and strength and we all know it takes alot to please him. His devil trigger is quite different and vergil asked "what form of power is this" clearly hinting that the devs have something in store for nero but hopefully if they make dmc 6
Its been a while since i played DMC5 but if i remember well Nero does not deals much damage as Dante or Vergil (also Vergil was weakened at his fight with Nero so it would not suprise me if they actually affected his stats at this boss fight)
Gameplay and lore/narrative-wise are separated. Not completely but there is a distinction and things like that do not factor into gameplay unless it does obviously.
@@TheDevilDucker you can at least stop his combos by precisely timed your attack so his sword/punch/kick/motorcycle moves will be cancelled, but unfortunately it’ll leave you open too even in SDT, and Dante will trick back at you with his fresh combo ;(

There is a mod that lets you fight both dante and vergilat the same time in m20 as nero (tho you only need to beat dante to win) , while its not perfect (also extremely painful on dmd) its still pretty fun and exciting to see both dante and vergil charge at you with thier sdts
I imagine the cutscene went basically in reverse before this and Vergil got the bitchslap of doom. Also love how boss Dante does not give a heck about -Ragtime Showdown- anything and will just combo you anyway.

In all the "vs Dante" I've watched its never been more clear just how much super-armor he has. A pity that, while better than most, Dante still is set to rely on such cheap tricks.

God this highlights how Dante has infinite super armor when he's attacking. Ironically you can knock him out of sin dt, but regular form he'll keep swinging at air for 10 seconds straight no matter what
He only recently got his Sin DT form, he's probably not as used to it as he is with his ordinary DT

The solution for Bustering Dante is just use Vergil's buster animations. Replace Vergil with Dante and Yamato with DSD.
I've asked the mod community before, they really don't care enough to do the work for it, that was the general answer

Actually, he can't be interrupted during His Attack animation like Vergil, you need yo wait until he finishes His combos
