Looking at building a medium duty international same class as this hoping to get you guys to add sleeper to it when get it built will be in touch and following here awesome job
Very nice setup. But I'd pull out the center console so you can get into and out of the sleeper. Also add a large inverter and extra batteries for the fridge and microwave. THEN ,it'd be perfect.
Oh yeah, a quick suggestion, I’ve added a pillow-top mattress which limits my head space (totally necessary) so next time I would consider doing away with the storage underneath the bed, for more comfortable sleeping quarters, just way too tight to maneuver + carrying a book bag is sufficient for me!! Love the work, I highly recommend if anyone reading is considering 👍
Still better to pull heavy trailers with this than a pickup. Dont get me wrong, pickups have their place in towing trailers and such, but some trailers Ive seen people pulling with their pickups makes me cringe. But I would prefer this to have air brakes though. Just my preference really.
You'd need a Class 1 license (full highest level commercial) rather than just a Class 5 (basic car driver's license) to have air and tow a trailer. At least where I am from.
@@Geoff_G Yeah, that's not how it is here in the states. You can drive a commercial vehicle A or B cdl status with air brakes with a regular driver's license for private use. But you need your cdl A or B to drive the vehicle for commercial use. I have my class B cdl (any straight vehicle 26,000+ lbs and a trailer that weighs under 10,000lbs loaded or empty). I also have my air brake endorsement and my tanker endorsement.
@@Briebabcock8052 I see. Here in BC if either the trailer or tow vehicle has air, you must have a Class 1 regardless of weight or commerce. It pays to know your local jurisdiction laws for sure.
@@Geoff_G For sure, for sure. Our transportation related laws are set by the Department of Transportation. But some states vary. Like for example, a farmer can drive a loaded class A farm truck without a cdl (almost if not all farmers for the most part have their cdls) 1 being the truck is registered as a farm truck and 2 as long as the farm truck is driven with in 500 miles of the farm.
Ontario Cash Crop Farmer We have done cabs on GM trucks, just not as many as Ford or Dodge lately. Delivery schedules are usually really tight, so I don’t always get to pick which trucks to film. Very few stay on our lot past completion. I’ll try to catch the next GM truck that rolls through!
@@RoadmasterTruckCabExtensions I would like to see that too, also, if you tell the price the videos would be more useful. You know everyone wants to know that.
The extended cab really lends itself to this conversion quite well
You guys does an awesome job custom building these trucks thanks for sharing.

Do you do sleeper mods on a 2006 freightliner daycab?
Looking for a sleeper for my 2012 International 4300 with an extended cab is there such a thing? Randy
Do you guys build on GM platforms? 2500, 3500 platform? Extended cab or 4 door? If so could you put a video in of one of them?

Really nice
Just personal preference, but an aluminum bed would have looked better on this build.
Aluminum would also be lighter, last longer and not rust.
As a retired metalsmith I can definitely say aluminum does indeed corrode.
Can you guys make it with the crew cab to
Too bad you can't no longer get this Ford F-650 with the Cummins and Allison.
