Hi Brian ! yes I got HD Poxy, I use on my car 1years ago on paint, trims, glass windows, rubber seals and headlights. Looks like I did this yesterday, (looks wet ) great stuff...….. Thanks for the video.
hi Sensei, did you check how long the wax stays on the varnish? uses only the "Detailing Wash" "Grit Guard Two Bucket System" with the full detailing philosophy ...
Poxy has to be the easiest to use liquid wax I ever used. Very crisp application and removal. Slick finish too. Seems to have at least short term durability. If it can make it through a Metro Detroit winter, then it's a winner! Don't know yet though. Duragloss 111 is what I like for winter protection..
@@apexdetail85 ....hey, Brian, how well did it hold up? I'm thinking of using it in a few weeks as my summer wax/sealant. My car is garage kept and if I can get 5+ months out of (I live in the midwest) and have it last close to October, I'll be happy....
Brian I had no idea you were in Pennsylvania. So am I. Dead center of the state in Lamar. I want to try Poxy because I really like 3D products. Their 500 and 520, the 501 and 502 as well as the 3D One with 50/50 urofiber pads. I also like their Nano Pail Pre Soak and Nano Pail Soap. I have been using with great results the Meguires Hybrid Ceramic Wax with Meguires Ceramic Detailer after washes on my vehicles as well as customers. I just want to try something different and since I have great luck with 3D products i was going to try 3D Poxy and use 3D Bead it Up after maintenance washes.
Thanks again my name is Frank my kids named my UA-cam channel BIGD.They thought it was funny but I lost over 80Lbs so no more BigD. I guess it stuck with them 😎
How easily does it clean from the pads? I now have dedicated powerlock+ pads because it won't come out. Picked up poxy but before I lose more pads to dedicated products, I'm trying to get info first lol. Thanks! Great video!!!
@@PeteyMcSavage Some people like it on certain colors. It tends to give off a hard candy look which many like. Some don't. The tin is under 20$ so makes it easy to try it for yourself :)
Tried HD poxy for the first time yesterday; applied with griots garage basic 6"+3D Black Spider foam pad. Works just as you illustrated, great shine. Do you suggest or do you think it's even necessary to top coat this with a spray detailer like Bead Maker (etc) after maintenance washes? It's an extra step and I wondered if it will make it last longer or make any difference at all.
One of the claims with Beadmaker is it play's well with everything. I'd give it a try one panel, and compare it it to the HD Poxy only panels. Worse case your only stripping one panel and reapplying if it fails.
@@jayz313 yep, tried it and all I can say is Wow. Silky smooth and makes the HD poxy as a base super shine. Gotta believe it helps maintain the protection shine longer. Beadmaker wasn't difficult to apply, and I spray it on and hand buff off about every 2-3 maintenance washes. Highly recommend the combination.
I prefer 3D Bead It Up over beadmaker. Seems like everything 3D is doing they are doing correctly. Man do I ever use the hell out of #500 xtra cut, and #520 finishing polish, as well as 3D One Sometimes on black or dark blue metallic painted vehicles that i do the two step #500/#520 on, I will do a third step with Meguires Ultimate Polish. I have been pretty happy with the results
Great video as always! I used this product in direct sun light (I know that’s a big don’t) but I had no option. I only left it on the panel for 15 min because of the sun, but when I wiped it off, It wouldn’t wipe off completely. It would leave some hazy spots that I was only able to remove by really putting some elbow grease into it. Do you think this happened because it was done in direct sun light? Thank you in advance.
jose mendoza what kind of towel did you use to remove it?. I’ve used poxy in 90 degree weather and let it cure for 30 to 45 minutes and I comes off smooth as butter.
@@apexdetail85 Everybody focuses a lot on longevity and less so on appearance (because it's so subjective) The holy grail is the warmth and glow of a natural wax with the longevity of a synthetic. Can that be achieved through a combo approach and if so, what combo and what order?

I used HD Speed for a paint enhancement then topped it with Proxy and topped that with 3D Bead it up. Super slick and hydrophobic and glossy as hell.

I'm a big fan of Finish Kare Hi-temp paste wax. It work nearly the same. I also love 3D products and will have to get some.
Derek Munro I will showcase that at some point.
Can't wait for that one!
I have some that I haven't used yet. Is it okay to get on the trim or do I need to avoid it?
@@meiowalot7570 I usually avoid it with any wax. I don't think it will hurt the trim though. But try a test spot first.
I've been using it for more than a decade. One of my very favorite LSPs. It's not a wax, however. It's a sealant.
Great demo. Amazing product!
Thanks for the informative review of 3D HD Poxy. Will try some.
Short term protection...but looks great.

did he say wait 45 mins or 4 to 5 mins b4 wiping off
I recently saw the outcome of this wax, really deep and glossy. Was curious though with the 2 active properties can this be topped on a sealer?
Is there any other wax that performs as well in hot conditions as 3D HD Poxy, maybe Fusso ??

can this wax remove a fine swirls? like the goldclass meguiar´s?
is it safe to use this wax over another wax ? its fully organic?
This stuff is awesome. Now they just call it 3D Poxy
That's what I was trying to find out. Which came first, the HD poxy or just the poxy. Thanks
Can a short throw polisher work just as great as a rotary?
Can this product be used on a fiberglass boat aka gel coat???
Can you apply the 3d cherry wax on a wet surface it says it gives a deep gloss and wet look.
What is an ip solution? Straight alcohol? Or diluted?
How much should I pay for a small or large size vehicle wax? By a professional
Awesome description of the product Brian. Have you tried any of the FUSSO coatings I heard that it is pretty good.
I will get to them eventually👍
Please do some review on Finis Kare Hi Temp past, aka FK1000P Big White. Respect for your work

Can u put 3D HD Poxy to the test with an other wax or sealant

Wadester P. Coletrain it can. But you would be hiding the characteristics of the coating.

Why are you working the wax so much? Both by hand and the machine took forever. There is no corrective properties.
Newbie here but a question, how to achieve the wet look for your car?
Lots of fine polishing and follow up with a quality wax or sealant. I have a few older vids on the process.
