Vast majority of practitioners refers to that armbar setup as the Choi bar, referencing the man who popularized it in competition, Choi Won Choi. Just wanted to note that since you refered to Micah's application of the move when you brought it up.

there's a subtle difference: they discuss a Choi bar setup at 18:30, and pretty much dismiss it (Choi bar requires much bigger movement)
@@jinxit What subtle difference are you talking about. if he has a halfguard kneeshield, or if his feet are on the hip, the setup movement is still called the Choi Bar.
@@BJJTK in Silver Fox's armbar hips never move off the ground - if you want call it a Choi bar, but I would definitely not.
