I love how in snsd you can think of Jessica as a mix of taeyeon and sunnys voices together; she can be mixed with either of them and it sounds really well kinda wished they had a trio of them.

The best one is ITNW, Taeyeon's high note is suppose to be a duet with Jessica but they later just gave it to solely Tae. You can still hear Jessica's hidden vocals.
As a S♡NE, and golden star, I totally agree. It's no debate we all know snsd members can sing, but what jessica brought was unity and harmony. She was the perfect bridge and gateway of soft and power. So transitions from softer voices like Yuna to more power like taeyeon really relied on the adlibs and harmonies from jessica.
She and Taeyeon were the main pillar and foundation of snsd's sound. Take one of them out, it wouldn't be the same. Even seohyun is an important part of snsd's sound. She was the harmonizer in the group when it comes to live singing.
Jessica is really important in the group after the Ot8 comebacks you can really feel something missing, her voice gives a flavor to every of their song.
