Jessica is one of the most unique voices in K-pop. She's the voice of SNSD, along with Taeyeon. I'm glad that she has a place for herself in China, and she's happy to be singing and dancing again. Because Jessica is actually the icon of SNSD, and in my opinion SNSD after Jessica is gone, the songs they currently perform seem to have lost their original identity, where Jessica has the most distinctive and unique voice in SNSD as SNSD's harmony, because most of the members' voices are stronger to power while Jessica's voice is like a barbie, the point is her voice is the difference and the most unique. Even without seeing the person (Jessica) just listening to her voice, I already guessed that it was Jessica's voice. So now SM is really stupid to throw away the most multi-talented diamond in this group, it's a shame..

I was into kpop when they were still 9 and I can tell you, I didnt like Jessica at first until later song. I think it was because I am and still a big fan of Yuri, Seohyun, and hyoeon and Jessica and taeyeon got so many good parts. After she left, I kind of realized that perhaps there was some issues behind the scenes like bullying against her for the favoritism she got. And because maybe, my theory, is because she wasn't Korean member. She was Korean American. Now that is very common but not back than

she is fully Korean. Jessica and Tiffany are fully korean by blood but born and raised in the USA. She was kicked out due to being ostracized by the other members. Taeyeon, the leader, did not hide her dislike for her. SM Entertainment still kept a contract with her until 2015 a whole year after she was kicked from the group. They approved of her business but the members did not for unknown reasons.

Jessica was an all-rounder, if it wasn't for her anemia she could've been the other main dancer, she was given the best outfits and was mostly placed un the Center along with Yoona, adding to that she was also the main vocalist with Taeyeon. The way you told seems like Jessica was trying to overshadow other members . When Jessica left the group there was some emptiness in their songs . She was the essence of the group .

she is fully Korean. Jessica and Tiffany are fully korean by blood but born and raised in the USA. She was kicked out due to being ostracized by the other members. Taeyeon, the leader, did not hide her dislike for her. SM Entertainment still kept a contract with her until 2015 a whole year after she was kicked from the group. They approved of her business but the members did not for unknown reasons.

@@bobhager41 She gave a lot of insights in her book, there was jealousy and envy in that group given that SM didn't treat all of them fairly depending on the popularity each members had and their role within the group. Some parents were displeased too so it just added fuel to the fire because they wanted their own daughters to be given their chance to shine. One of them was Taeyeon that I'm certain was convinced by Sooyoung and her parents. I strongly believe they initiated all this and began putting the rest on their side. Jessica was an all-rounder, if it wasn't for her anemia she could've been the other main dancer, she was given the best outfits and was mostly placed un the Center along with Yoona, adding to that she was also the main vocalist with Taeyeon.
You can look up Dispatch deleted article and align it with the What's behind Jessica's removal video here on YT, but I suggest you to read Shine and Bright first because Jessica debunks many theories sones and media created to cover up what truly happened on 9/30 and how it all came down to that moment.

I have not read her book so I am in the dark about a lot of this just groping in the dark and making assumptions But I can certainly believe about Sooyoung's parents being the catalyst for all this mess, It is a shame all this happened but jealousy does rear it head when dealing with fame and popularity in any business. But in the end it seems to have favored Jessica who is certainly worth more than any anyone in the group. So again . that's for your input it cleared up some questions I have had. Take care
