Hope you enjoyed this one and found it useful! I know how intimidating deadlifts can be especially for beginners. But set your ego aside, take your time to learn the proper form, and you'll master the deadlift in no time. Let me know in the comments below what other exercises you're struggling with and I'll cover that next! 👇

So many find it so complicated. It’s actually explained very well with visuals ..
He just gave all the points we must
Take note to avoid injury .. what is the complication here? Do with him slowly and you will know how many places you make mistakes and injure yourself.
He is only helping you in the best possible way with the correct graphics rather than just talking … with visuals we can understand well. He has taken the pains to put this together and explain clearly ..
Practice step one when picking up objects till you master well ..
then proceed to step 2 and practice that for few weeks… then go to two 3 and so on ….

I injured myself pretty badly (about 3 months ago), although I have a lifting experience of about 6 years. I think I lost my form trying to exceed my PR (380 pounds) - ego-lifting right there. Now I can't even lift half of that weight.
Lesson learnt - No ego lifting no matter how much experience you have in lifting.
I came here to see if I was doing anything wrong (hopefully, all these years I was right except for the above lift).
I'll implement these techniques to get back in form.
    Excellent video right there.

    • @JoeFromSomewhere2303
      @JoeFromSomewhere2303 3 місяці тому +2

Yea if you haven't done a proper deadlift before it's not the time to play hero with the weight. I personally practice deadlift form with no weight, ten pound and 20 pound weights. One day a week I try with a bar but my deadlift is still only barely higher than my bench. Do the same thing, take it slow while you learn good form. Deadlifts are one of the most important compound exercises we have access to. It can be done safely and it's mostly people who take no precautions and have no concerns that over exert themselves and end up injured. The fact that you're concerned about injury indicates your likely to take necessary precaution to not get injured.

    Great video!
After working out (heavy) in my early 20s, I messed up my back and haven't been able to train for almost 10 years!
I have come back to the gym and beaten my ego to not just lift weights because I can. Now I'm super focused on form and execution.
I'm weak and my muscles are short and joints have limited mobilisation... This helps a lot.
Would you mind do a similair video for a bend over row and lat pull?
I will try and search through your videos but if not... A lower body/lower back mobilisation improvement(anckles and up to where the illipsoas ends) video to execute the deadlift and squad better would be nice.

Fantastic video. I've been working out most of my life and have NEVER done deadlifts. Partly due to a bad back. But realizing it would actually help my back to strengthen my core....I want to start deadlifting. This video gave so much good info that my apprehension is all but gone. Obviously I'll start with very low weights and build strength first...but the technique was always what worried me....I had no idea how to perform this lift and was nervous to try without knowing. Thank you!

If this video doesn’t get people to deadlift I do not know what will. 💪 A lot of effort for those beautiful visuals that come together to create an easy to follow and rational process to working that bar. Way to go, Jeremy! 🙏

I’ve been working out for years but, always strayed away from deadlifts. This new program calls for them so, this video has been very helpful. I’ll practice my form with lighter weights first. Thanks.

Best and most concise deadlifting video I've found, thank you! As for finding foot placement, the best advice I ever received was to look up at the ceiling and prepare to jump up as high as you can to reach it. Just before you jump look at your foot placement, this is where your body subconsciously feels the most powerful. I use this on my deadlift set up every time.

Yesterday i increased the weights and i recorded my self just because i always do it with new high weights and i just saw how i kind of rounded my back, and i sometime get pain in my lower back - not like super pain but small cramps. I will watch your video again next time im doing deadlift. Sumo deadlift is easier for me but the conventional deadlift is important to :) thank you for this video :)
