Definitely was skeptical about the cluster trick working I tried it on mine and boom working mint thanks for the video highly recommend trying if having the same issue
Good video, thanks for posting! I think I damaged my pressure gauge, since I messed the wrong way with the connectors at the sender. Then I changed the sender and also changed the last bit of the wire harness, the niddle went really up, then began settling down and the fall really low. Nowadays When I start the LC in the morning it shows some pressure (in the middle between low and the following line) once it's hot it only shows a bit of oil pressure when revving by 3000 RPM and then no more. I forgot to mention that I did measure the oil pressure with an external gauge and the pressure was really good. Right now I think I'll buy the new gauge (I hope to find a good price) and then see open everything and perhaps replace the old green LEDs with white LEDs and make it look more actual.
Thanks and yes i hope the video helps somewhat i know its lower quality but im trying to help with what i can im still leanring but on another note the white leds will look great i did that to my 3rd gen 4runner and i love my cluster at night haha
@@GrandmasMallCrawler You take the sender our and screw an oil pressure gauge and turn on the engine, best if you do it when engine is hot so you know the real working pressure.
Hello ..thank you for the video...one question ..i put a new oil pressure sender but my oilpressure with the warm engine doesn't go above the first line on 2400 rpm and below this on idling 800 rpm .. I don't know if I have the correct oelpressure...
This worked for mine! I really didn't expect it to be that simple. Thanks for a great video!
Very informative video brother thank you so much ❤

Nice ! Im glad it has helped someone it seems like it might be a rare issue.
thank you very much, clear concise and to the point. .
Thanks for this video I will have to check mine out.
Thanks for sharing 👍

how do you measure the pressure externally?

What do you think the actual fix was, the wires in the engine or the cluster/gauge was stuck?
For sure it wasmy cluster someone definetly was in there before me !
