Very, very nice. I liked the lady's big golden palomino although I know it wasn't the fastest racker. Some of the nicest rackers! I can't get past NICE! :)
Rebekah Million-Steele you just don’t get how comfortable they are until you ride one. The motion is side to side instead of up and down, you just rock back and forth, glide ride. I started QH, on my third TWH, not quite the same action of these, but still lateral gait instead of diagonal.
Good job on the video and the editing Vixen. The guy with the plaid shirt and your husband both had horses that could really roll, but all the horses racked great. What kind of distances are these horses ridden? I take that the pov camera is a GoPro Hero helmet HD camera? Keith Kibler Shawnee Sunrise Farm
Thank you Keith. Some of the distances on the straight stretches of roads were 1 to 2 miles long. We rode about 7-10 miles on roads each day while staying at the campground. Not a Go Pro. I don't wear a helmet so can't use one of those. I just hold my Sony Handycam in one hand and reins in the other! lol! Fortunately both horses I was riding, Moon and Lex, both are smooth enough to video from and get some decent footage. Glad you enjoyed the video!
I doubt it most of those horses are either mares or horses that have been cut you rarely see people ride stud hosses on trail like these because they cut up a lot and try to fight the other horses or breed the mares. My granddad rode his stud horse dusty on trails like this but he'd have to be either in the very front or way in the back of the riders and ride him by himself.
you know trainer Ivy trains gaited horses & she says having the horse's head so high can ruin the horse physically & permanently & are any of those horses the product of soring? I sure hope not .
Nearly all of the horses in this video are Standardbreds, they are not Tennessee Walking horses and the front end action is natural on these horses. They don't require big shoes or any help to have the bigger front ends. You don't sore a horse you are riding out on trails or road riding at speed. TWH's are only sored in the show ring with pads, just because a horse has a big front end does not mean it is sored. There are lots of breeds with natural front ends and also these horses go nothing at all like a TWH. And the high head on these horses is also natural, that is the way they carry theirself. They are not forced to do anything they are doing in this video.
Motivation!!!! 🐎💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 luv it man!
