I'm very glad this was added. It makes the Knuckleblaster equally useable as the Feedbacker; previously I had to treat the Feedbacker as my "main" arm.
I actually use both the feedbacker and knuckleblaster a lot. It took a lot of training to get used to switching back and forth between them comfortably. I've been waiting got this change for a long time, but now that it's out, I realize I need to rebuild my muscle memory...
You can still do what you were doing before if you want! The "swap arm" and "punch" binds are still there, so peeps who are just too used to swapping don't miss out hahaha
Samee tho, cause my muscle memory already got attuned to switching the arms quickly enough to the point where it wouldn’t disrupt combat flow too much… However, I have caught myself on multiple occasions trying to parry with the knuckleblaster and, (yes, I’m serious when I say this…) even trying to projectile boost with it, all because my clumsy ass forgot to re-switch them back. Besides, the fact that I don’t have to worry about switching to and from different arms makes it overall easier to incorporate it into combos, so I’d say it’s worth rewiring my muscle memory for. _LeBron James spotted trying to parry with the knuckleblaster_
I was basically the same as you but in reverse. I preferred the knuckleblaster for its consistent damage output, and only swapped to the feedbacker when I was planning on parrying or when I was fighting a boss. Now I find it much easier to use the feedbacker(I actually parry blue orbs all the time now!)
Omg finally someone with up as change variation and down as change weapon, I haven't been able to find anyone else who did it. Often people bind them to punch and swap arm (now knuckle blaster due to this patch).
I though this woudnt change much, but now I use the knuckblaster way more than the feedbacker, making it switching at the press of a buttom makes things much easier, I would like if they did something similar to chnage revolver variants, because managing 3 variants consumes time and muscle memory.
im really hoping they let you change the scroll wheel weapon order next, i miss it when i can just scroll wheel from the coin revolver into the railcannon effortlessly
I used to be an arm-only speedrunner. The new update got me back into the game for the first time in months and I'm just as addicted as I was the first time I played! Don't think I'll go back to weaponless runs though, even with this quality of life update.
@@elzeban @nevinmyers1245 i think it either depends on the currently equipped fist or when press the knuckleblaster keybind you do a feedbacker punch for a few frames
Honestly, I prefer switching since there arent really situations where I NEED an arm at that moment. I'll still use the KB when needed, or if I think knockback helps. Or when I want to annihilate a hoard of Filth
I'm sticking with normal swapping Ain't no way I'm rebuilding that muscle memory, my F key will stick to being the only melee key It would like the fist icon next to my crosshair though
I rebinded knuckleblaster to a shoulder mouse button but now its way harder to use the shotgun at the same time (cause my mouse doesnt like using multiple inputs like shoulder + m1) so im not that enthused ig
this addition is fire, but i got too used to the old fisting method, so it's hard to learn a new way now, partially because the original keybind for arm switch - G - is awkward and hard to reach (i rebound it to side mouse button). there aren't many buttons left that are easy to reach, sadly
Using arms with a binded key is really cool and all, but I like the skill and memorization (and, lets be honest, the drawback) of having to manually switch arms before punching the fuck out of whatever’s in front of me.
You can parry that attack. It’s just the timing to do it is so strict that Hakita made the flash blue because it is so difficult to pull off (pretty much near frame perfect) so it’s possible, just not practical.
I've gone from Punch F and Swap Weapon G to Feedbacker F and Knuckleblaster G Maybe I could go with putting them on my mouse but I've already P ranked everything except P-2 I don't want to make new muscle memory for a marginal improvement
I'm very glad this was added. It makes the Knuckleblaster equally useable as the Feedbacker; previously I had to treat the Feedbacker as my "main" arm.
I'm the opposite, I had to treat the knuckleblaster as my main arm because I found it much more useful in high speed combat

Truly a quickpunch/fastpunch/violent punch moment
Anyways, just unbind your switch arm and punch key.
just like you, i find myself whipping out the red arm a lot more often now that you don't have to pre-plan its usage. good patch!
finally, optimized punching

I don't actually use either bind hahaha
isnt it annoying having to press change weapon like 5 times all the time
grrrrrr now i feel obligated to uproot my muscle memory

Putting the knuckleblaster on the mouse wheel is pretty smart, I may just do that and put my feedbacker on mouse4
bruv how did you parry the leviathan lunge at the end
it's like that one mod but vanilla now yippee
Kinda surprised no one’s mentioning the absurdly sick clips shown here but I guess people have already come to expect that from you lmao

You can also pro boost with the knuckle blaster keybind if tuned correctly

it’s so weird watching the game without the parry effect
Someone give me good and affective keybinds to use for deh arms
hey eren I got a 51 on the cyber grind in violent!! yay!!
