I've played this build and have a faur amount of success with it. It's probably my favorite thus far. Hopefully, this deck keeps riding high off into the sunlight before rotation hits.

I love Vein Ripper. I personally think it's better than shelly. Shelly is really good for draw heavy decks but Vein Ripper can almost change the way the opponent plays by making them second guess every removal, board wipe or block/attack they could make.
With how good Deep-Cavern Bat is I'm curious is Gitaxian Probe would be too much better? 1 phyrexian Blue mana: Look at target players hand and draw a card at sorcery speed. The "free" spells proved to be so dominant in the Delver deck at the time. And having draw a card tacked on instead of sniping one of your opponents cards. I get that these are two totally different cards but to my mind the largest difference is that Probe can go into any deck, is free but has no further impact on the game. Where Bat is 2 mana, requires black mana and if left unchecked can be a real threat, especially in decks that can pump it and keep it alive. Honestly just curious on everyone's opinion if this card is too powerful for standard, or if some of the 1 phyrexian mana spells could be reprinted, or even new 2 phyrexian mana cards printed. There is surely a point where the life cost is more then the value of the card! Anyway Deep-Cavern Bats just really feels like the Probe to me as I play it.
Honest question because I have no idea: in Historic...where are people most likely to introduce something again and people copy it? I know this has to be happening somewhere because all of a sudden, out of the blue: I get hit with the same deck type that has been dormant forever. I'm enjoying every 3rd match being Light Paws. I just want to know what I can expect from those that just copy strong decks in Historic Play. I went from yesterday where I was able to get my daily coins with ALL really unique (or seldom used) deck ideas to this morning being bombarded with mill, discard, and standard u/w cookie cutter trash. I'm not interested in having a philosophical debate about how you feel about my feelings...if someone could just let me know where these lists are: I'd greatly appreciate it. I was thinking it was this channel, but I don't see it.
Your reenact the crime matchup needs some work Ash. You had both the opportunity to kill the token so they couldnt bargain their beseech and kill the kaito so they couldnt potentially reenact the Breach the Multiverse the next turn. Got very lucky they didnt just win the game on the spot that turn
For the love of fuck can you punish AFK-win farmers? I have been trying to play a game for FOURTY FIVE MINUTES. I have had TEN AFK-win farmers in that time. Didn't accept a hand or play a single fucking card. STOP REWARDING THEM FFS. Videogame community management 101: don't reward problem players.
You have to let us block people on Arena. You will never enforce slow play rules, so just let us block people. I'm tired of running into people who are breaking the rules knowing there's nothing I can do to stop them.
Hoping they get rid of deck based matchmaking and even out the amount of times you go second in BO1 - fairly fucking pathetic to constantly go second 15-20 times in a row just for beating an orange dev severely as retaliation
Rigged shuffling, Mana short/flooding and dictating who goes first in short game itself interfering with the play is ridiculous. No wonder it is rated 4.2 in reviews 😁

Vein Ripper was my P1P1 in my first ever MKM draft. Didn’t even know it existed at the time. It won me multiple games by itself. Love it so much

would there be a way for this to be cut down to just being rakdos vampires and it still being viable? but loved the deck otherwise

Opponent had the enchantment creature (saga transformed) in addition to ninja token, the beseech on t4 was inevitable.
I don't know why she ignored kaito next turn though.
