Wizards needs to recognize that LVD is the best MTG UA-camr by far, since he's an expert, he's humble, he's eternally calm, and he makes it about the game rather than about him (i.e. doesn't obstruct the game board with his face). Idk abt obstructing the board with face part bro, I don’t think anyone does it for that, its more of how people prefer to record, maybe he jus doesn't feel too comfortable with his face there constantly. Idk any youtuber except qwasar77 who does that to occasionally talk abt themselves lmao

Great content. Love this take on the combo. In theory the Dimir version Ashlizzle seems better in that it has more synergies, but your version seems better engineered for the current standard meta. I can see this version becoming a staple of the meta.
If you have sheo and bloodletter on the field and then u averice it deals 18 dmg directly to there face and then take 2 more from sheo on there draw step, a very specific situation but its bound to happen to someone
Wait, you misplayed match 6, if you held the gftt until they tried casting rush of dread, they didn't have enough for spell pierce. Also could have saved the cycle for opponents' EoT to spook them for more time
Would love to see you play ranked because I’m not getting anywhere near the same results ranked. Only regular standard. I am new so that’s why I’m curious.
In match 4 at 19:03 you could've played insatiable avarice to deal 9 to your 10hp opponent. They would've died in their next draw step to Sheoldred. Of course they could've been holding a counter spell, but that just as easily could've countered your Bloodletter, the actual play.
This new heist mechanic is the sign that this is the time to leave magic arena. Definetly devs just fuck up the game even more, run out of ideas. Big GG for that persone who founded this idea. Hesit. GG.
This is the best example of a deck to play if your not trying to have fun at all. Just looking for wins. Simply just wait until turn five and press the win button 😂 Pretty lame tbh.
Part of me agrees, as I don't like the look of one spell making the opponent lose 20 life. However, turn 5 could still be considered slow in this meta. Personally I wouldn't be sad imagining Boros players crying helplessly at their monitors.
I hate this deck archetype too haha it’s literally either the ey have blood letter removal and win or they don’t and lose. Not a whole lot of thought process in making plays with this deck

Because Card Draw (which while blue does better, is perfectly fine in black) + Creature Removal (Best Done by Black) + Direct Damage (Which while best done by red, is perfectly fine in black) is basically 3 colors worth of niche in one. It’s a fundamental color pie issue, compounded with the extended standard meaning black keeps all of its best cards for longer. Also because a big part of black’s color pie was big payoff with drawback, but WotC doesn’t like printing big drawbacks anymore.
LVD has showcased about 5 other new decks in his channel this week, none of which featured black (if I'm not mistaken). I suggest you go check them out.
