The rock band 2 mic was too relatable for me bc the first mic i ever used was a guitar hero mic i got from a yard sale for 5$ when i was like 10 💀 Now im 16 (17 this october) and using a shure sm57 👍

Well I recently started recording music with real gear, using integrated sound card in my PC. Somehow I made it sound good with eq and multiband compressor.
i love how this is literally the story of asking alexandria's first album. they literally just showed up at joey sturgis' house, wrote the album in the rv parked in his driveway and recorded it in his basement

Nice! Sm57 isn’t crazy common for vox but it’s insanely versatile and can record pretty much anything. I do all my audio with one too
