Couldn't comment on your video talking about reading the bible "literally," so i'm putting this here, and no, i didn't watch this video. Denying the what has historically occured because you don't want to put anything in the proper context is like the people who believe the holocost didn't happen. Just because you don't want to see it for what it is, doesn't mean you're correct and it doesn't "strengthen" your faith. It just groups you in the category of confirmation bias. Which is helpful to no one. Your yahweh was a war monger. At the very least, the Greek Gods, the norse gods, and the gods of every other culture are venerated by being far more transparent and lenient. Not to mention simultaneously both involved and unconcerned with human conduct. One cannot claim skepticism and devout belief without one of those being a lie.
