I’m 73 & first heard Hubert Sumlin on an old Memphis Slim record & immediately got me hook on the blues-that was in 1965!
Awesome
Extremely helpful….
You’re a good teacher….
I can’t wait to get this into my fingers …
Thank you (:
Great lesson - as always. You are a great teacher - best on youtube for blues in my opinion.
I really like the way you break down the songs and riffs using actual players
You’re putting out my favorite blues lessons on UA-cam. Much appreciated!
Always been drawn to the blues guitar and your videos are making a big difference in my learning and playing. Thanks for putting in the effort and sharing your blues passion. Your format is the best I've found.... keep them coming.
Great lesson!! Love how you deconstructed it and put it back together again.
This is such a great video, thanks so much. I have been combing another blues lesson that you have with this one and it has really helped. Thanks again and keep up the good work.
I met Mr Sumlin once. He was playing a small bar in New Jersey. Lovely man.
Once again, a brilliantly presented lesson with great playing, cheers

I was very honored to be Hubert's drummer for a couple of months when I was playing with the Sean Chambers Band..... Sean was his band director/guitar player for 5 years.....

Good Ear Training! Great Teaching Concept! The way of the blues masters, who ignited the English rockers! Infusing Hubert Sumlin(guitar), Pinetop Perkins (keys),Willie Smith (drums) and Muddy-Howlin-Blind and so many of our legendary Blues genius of our very own blues genius’s with Beatles, Yardbirds, Clapton, Beck, Stones and of course Jimi!

CAN YOU DO LESSON ON JOHN HURT BLIND MAN SIT IN THE ROAD AND CRIED
Your lessons are always good. I favor the Chicago electric style like Hubert. A great subject would be James 'Pee Wee ' Madison. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
Thanks- Ill check that out!
I would love to see you do more lessons using a pick or hybrid picking (this is a bit too simple for me). For the B riff try using the second finger on the A string, the pinky on D, then mute the D, continue playing A with the index finishing the riff on the G string.
