I used to appreciate him more.. like I would travel to go and see him.... but after 2016 I rather watch him from behind my screen... still a good educative dj... I have collected more styles house music because of him and relate to other artist that you can't find over night..
There are only 13 comments here.. the other day I saw an old interview of Dave Congreve from 2008. Who by then was allready dj'ing 16 years (by now that's 28 years).. never heard of him yet he has a big name in London and was kinda a tutor to Jamie Jones.. he has only 1 track release on beatport and really a good few mixes on soundcloud... makes you wonder if people follow just for the hype or are actually really into the artist as a collecter, dj, musiclover or artist...
Hey, these videos are really, really awesome. Thanks for that. Just as quick tip they would benefit greatly from all being at the same level for sound though.
One word "hype"... They had four records out and they were already being labelled as top 20 label material in RA... It's who you know and not what you can do... The hype is constructed around them by some and then others follow. Before you know it Jaimie Jones is being heralded as the saviour of music but why? Hot Creations is a good label but really, so much smoke is blown up their assholes they're gonna need tons of Savlon to ease the pain. But I hate the game and not the players so fair play and he's a nice guy but it is all bullshit.
Bro I can play top djs to people and those who don’t like electronic stuff really they don’t react the same like with Jamie’s by far. They actually get quiet and ask who it is and if I can send them a link.
First point is spot in. Quit asking for track IDs. Just listen to the set and enjoy it!
Track ID pls
Still being unreleased track? Id pls
Still a top DJ, despite him being commercial. His selection is top notch. Much respect Jamie.
MrBoxingVideos he’s playing mainstage at EDCLV this year!! He may be commercial but I love that fact that most of his tracks he play are new to me
