Omg mind blown by the hybrid reading journal - bujo setup. Ive been watching reading journal videos to get inspo to set my first one, but haven't felt the need to track all the metrics people usually make into spreads. I loved your monthly bookshelf (never saw that before) and the idea for daily pages. Also appreciate your more low key approach to the decorations! So much inspo, thank you!
📓 I love my digital reading journal. Started a digital reading journal in 2010 and set up a new one each year. It is satisfying to look back at older journals and see how I have changed it up each year. Some ideas work, others are a flop. I also keep a hard copy journal. Over the years, I have simplified the format; keeping it minimal gives me the most benefit. For creativity, I make junk or collage journals. This allows me to use paper, stickers, watercolor, markers, pastels, ink stamps, tapes, and paints to be creative without needing to also track events and data. I have more emjoyment from my journals. Enjoy your journal!
I love how functional and pretty yet minimal your setup is. You've inspired me to attempt a journal like this, all others I've seen have been too detailed for what I know I'd be able to keep up with.
My suggestion with all journals / bullet journals / planners is start cheap and easy. Then over time you can upgrade go crazy. Don’t go and overwhelm yourself then not end up doing it at all. Good luck!
@xvxv711 thanks for the tips! Yes I definitely plan to start (and probably remain) simple. Adhd mind is screaming "ooh shiny" but my goals for 2024 are to be more intentional so sustainable goals are the most important thing!
I love the idea of using the front cover endpages to collect stickers!!! I'm obsessed with your social media and habit trackers 😍😍😍 Oh my gosh the video idea spread is so cute!!! I also love the idea of putting "year at a glance" spread in your reading journal to keep up with readathons and such!!! I actually love how you set this up so much and honestly you have given me so many ideas on how to utilize my life journal this year for booktube planning! 💜💜💜
The monthly bookshelf is adorable! 📓 Also i love the idea of having dedicated space to write down video ideas for every month, that was like, eye opening moment for me 😀 I am one of those people that decorates their journals a lot but I need to have pretty space to work in, when I am lazy and don't make my spreads I am not even drawn to using them 😅
GIRL! Your map turned out so good! I know I'm literally insane with the amount of time it takes to make them, but I'm so glad that you were able to draw inspiration from me! 🫶
I really liked this! I always want to be a book journal person but always find it takes sooo much of my time to create the really detailed spreads I see everyone do. So I really liked being able to see it a lil more simple, but super cute still! maybe this will be my year!
Love this! It’s so refreshing to see a realistic/attainable journal that is also v cute. No shade to the people who go all out with their journals, but I just don’t have the time or the skill for that 😅📓
📓I love the map 😍 Your journal combines 4 of my journals 😂 I am an over organised person and need it all separate. I have one for reading, one for my tasks, one for video ideas (messy chaotic thoughts) and then move the chosen videos into a video planner journal which tracks growth as well 😅 Its alot but it works for my brain
I love the monthly bookshelf spread! I am not particularly creative in my bujo and lean heavily into stickers to give mine some pizazz. Lol. otherwise, it's just me and my colored pens writing a lot of words.
omg the little plant drawings on your patreon spread PERHAPS YOU SLAYED! YOUR PRAISE I AM NOT WORTHY😭😭🥹🥹🫶🫶🫶🫶 this turned out sO CUTE BESTIE the little drawings next to ur bookshelves are simply everything 📓
I started reading journal this year and bought a new one for next year. The problem with the reading journal for this year, I will end up with 80-100 empty pages. Any idea what I can do with them?
I keep multiple years in one. Mine's a little more basic, one page per month with just a couple of trackers. It's awesome to go back through previous years and remember where I was or what was going on when I read 'insert book name here'.
i have so many journaling supplies and extra archer & olive journals... i need to get back to it. love your simple but super cute spreads! 📓

I also always leave the first page of my journals blank I feel so seen! Also love the sticker idea that’s so smart 📓
Always in awe of how creative everyone is with their journals. I can't imagine how longe this took. Your 2024 one looks great! 📓
Love the monthly shelves. That is definitely going in my journal this year.

The cutest bullet journaling video! 💕📓📓📓📓
The way I'm only 2 min in and am already SO IMPRESSED. That map 😍 I really wish I had the patience and artistic skills to do a reading journal 😭😭
I also collect stickers in my bullet journal! I’m so impressed by the map you drew, and I love the mo the shelves spread. 📓📓

P.S. Your coaster is gorgeous!
I wish I could do this but I can never stick with the plan. Lol
I do journal, but it’s more of a traditional “this is my boring life” type of journal.
I thought the plants you drew were on a washi tape! Very nice!
