Sorry about that! You should see the option now, lower right hand corner.

I just do not understand why we can't just accept autism. Who cares how a child plays? I love my autism.

I love being autistic. Non disabled people should be more understanding towards us.

Because I'm lucky enough to have a more mild form of autism, but I've seen people with autism who can't function safely outside of their families homes. What happens when the loving parents die of old age and the autistic child is left in the dubious care of the State?

Agreed, that sounds like a form to reinforce masking :/

I am actually sitting here with my 10 year-old Autistic boy who will not go to sleep it is 6:30 AM Here newfoundland Canada I'm just asking Watching some of these videos I'm seeing here and I feel like it makes sense I'm always trying to do my homework and learn new things everyday and I am not autistic, I am a autism mom And Of course I love my son So it's moments like there I struggle because I feel like I have nothing left in the toolbox And feel like a failure I just Read comments and I be very conflicted because I don't know what to be listening to or watching, There is so much out there and there so much that is true and there so much that is false I will just like to know watching these little videos Are they not correct I feel like I get over whelmed So much because it is so hard and I AM ADHD I feel like I understand my child with autism more than anybody in our house does that make sense

Why are you advocating for abuse? ABA is abuse. Stop it.

@@anamatics_14 applied behavioural analysis. It forces autist to act neurotypical.
It was invented by the same person, who developed conversion therapy and who electrecuted patients as means of negative reinforcement

@@anamatics_14 applied behaviour analysis. It is one of the most known early interventions for children with autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. There are some others (eg: Denver model of early intervention) but the basics are the same.

@@danielmendez7468 "Intertventions for" is a funny way to misspell "abuses of".
