The 50s style P Bass necks are thicc. So it's hard to play very fast on them. But that's not a bad thing. Also not so great for slap bass. Also not a bad thing ;) A Jazz Bass would be a bit closer to a Musicmaster.

Taka, do you notice any major differences between the musicmaster and the pbass?
The neck is thicker than Musicmaster. Also, the tone is so thick too.
