These long videos are definitely way more enjoyable to me, it feels like catching up with someone, understanding the different struggles and wins you've encountered on your build.
Definitely more longer videos on the build! I'm always left wanting to see more after a short. Love watching things come together as you progress, and I can't wait to see it finished!👍
yes! please more long videos! I like them a lot more and think they are much more insightful! Keep up the amazing work of restoring that beauty and the amazing videos! :)
I bought a 110 because of you and your videos, quickly turned it into a camper. Shortly after I was kicked out of my family home and made sort of homeless. That car saved my life in a way and gave me a chance to get back on my feet. The family drama is sorted now but the Land Rover has forever cemeted a place in my life. Thank you
Your car is beautiful. I’m so excited to see what adventures you get up to. Also made me smile seeing its from County Garage in Barnstaple - they were repairing my (modern) Land Rover last week!
@@kasperhoglund it’s pretty modern. If you remember, or are interested, let me know when you do and I’ll show you some cool spots on the coast this way!
Just another vote for the long vlog format,- much more details, deeper involvement into the process, understanding of particular type of work, not to mention, more joyful time of watching:). Also would really appreciate it if you could share in comments short info about the materials and tools which used in the current episode (or like a common updated footnote in comments under each video).
Definitely love the long form videos mate, much more engaging than the shorts. Gives me a chance to sit down with a brew and bikkies and see how it’s all coming along.
The longer videos are almost a form of meditation. I watch the shorts and insta clips also but the long format UA-cam videos are what I most enjoy and look forward.
Thanks man! Definitely taking more time than first planned when I didn’t know the true state of everything 😅 but will be great in the end! Hopefully a small Alfa project in the future 🤌
So happy to finally have a long episode again! Please keep coming back to this format. Cant wait to follow the progress and see the end result at some point
I must say that I have watched your channel for a few years and every time enjoyed your content wanting more. I have restored quite a few land rovers from series to discovery, but your restoration is amazing and can't wait to see you travelling in it! You should be very proud of yourself! Thank you for making these videos.
Well thank you for that! I’m sure the pride of driving off away from this garage when I’m done with it will be huge. But it will be used as intended, no matter how clean it may be on that final day🤝 and I’m equally stoked about getting it dirty again
I’m glad to see you have gone back to a long video instead of those silly short vertical videos. I just cannot be bothered watching. Don’t understand why people can’t put the cameras to correct way around making videos. Looking forward to seeing you summer videos in the coming months
Noted! I try to mix with a bit longer stuff, but never seems to find a “right length” Might make a lot of semi long, then an hour+ when I have gathered a lot of stuff to edit for people wanting more 🤝🏽
Put me down for another vote for more of these longer videos please, Kasper! There is something very ASMR-like about the combination of the way you narrate the video with the music you set the video to. I always feel more relaxed and chill after watching your videos. Fortsett det godt arbeidet!
Really enjoy the longer videos. The shorts are great and make stuff move along but the journey is lost a little with them. The longer videos just feel more organic and help tell the story. Almost there now mate with this. Get your self a ticket for the Land Rover show at Belvoir Castle UK and let us all see your work in person 👍🏻
As much as I enjoy the short stories on Instagram, the longer videos here on UA-cam are just perfect. No one can expect you to put all the small details into a long video that you've put into the stories since this would result in a fairly long video, but a length like this is so great to get a nice glimpse of what you're doing and of all the progress you are making. Thanks for taking us on this awesome journey :)
Really love these longer videos. Please keep them coming. I don't think I've been this excited to see a car finished since Project Binky. Love your work and you've done an incredible job so far with the restoration.
This video is really on the line between art and an informative car video on UA-cam. I love what you're doing with this build and the production value that you offer is second to none. Thank you for bringing this project to our viewing
The longer content is very enjoyable. Allows for a real understanding of exactly how much work is going into the restoration of the old girl. Keep up the awesome work. 👌🏻👌🏻
You have a really relaxing voice, your work is ace and I love the music you put on your videos. Keep up the great work, love the long videos, keep suppin the tea!
Hey Kasper, your long form videos are so good to watch, please keep them coming. Really enjoying this build! I also really like the short form but definitely like spending more time watching the build on YT. Cheers mate!!
Long form videos are the way forward.. it’s great to see the short form updates.. but you are a great creator and the long form videos show this.. thank you for letting us watch your progress with this project.
I am curently in the process of restoring a 1994 Range Rover Classic. Seeing your video is pure therapy. The journey is quite long, but in the end, it Will be worth it ! Loving this long format too !
Mate. I have a ‘64 2a 88” that I’ve been slowly restoring over the years while keeping it on the road. My 5 and 7 year olds love it and It’ll be in my family for generations. It means so much more to everyone that it’s got so much of my whole families blood sweat and tears into. Just like you knowing you’ll be able to handle roadside repairs because you’ve been thoroughly over that truck, it also adds such a sense of value and sentiment to it. They already had so much character and then after someone lovingly restores it, bringing it back from the brink, you really bring it alive. CONGRATS. great videos as well.
Please make more long format videos. I have been waiting since your last one. I'm not much for reels and short form stuff. I love story telling and this build is worth the story.
The restoration is coming along Excellent.. OCD is what it is. And as long as you are not gonna trailer it in a bubble , it will be like buying a Brand New series 88 in the year 2024. And driving it for the love and passion you put in it. I say , spend the money, what is affordable and drive the wheels off it. My first restoration at age 12 in 1977 on the 53 GMC 5 window 1/2 ton truck was a huge learning experience that served me well my whole life. in 2004 when i first acquired my 1930 Ford mode A , i was not at al intimidated starting with only a frame and rusty 74 year old body. To the 4th one i built and currently drive. You can see a feature of it on my Utube channel. But so far yur Rover is looking Impeccable. Oh, they sell a Spray wax we would use to ship metal parts overseas. Any metal you spray it on inside doors, under chassis bolts and panels , they Wont rust. its called Cosmoline. aka Spray wax preservative. Easy to remove and clean off. And yes i would sure like to see the Final assembly Long Version on yur channel👍👍🏁🏁🏁🏁🔧🔧🛠️🛠️🔧🔧
Wheels will definitely be driven off it! And it will like you say be like buying a new one 50 years after production. Every empty space is filled with lanolin (a fat based on sheep wool). And the whole underside, brake lines, leafs and axels will be sprayed down with a final coat in the end. Will hopefully be able to stay afloat the rust issues for some years then!
Longer videos definitely for me. I've watched whole series of 'series' restorations from Foreman + Wills, Bunker Fuel, and Croker, and they are definitely more engaging (for me)
I don't really like shorts in general. These 10+ minutes videos are best - the longer video, better for me. I am always excited as a little kid when you finally upload a new one, and enjoying this rebuild when having a breakfast or lunch.
Definitely love the long format videos, there's something comforting about them. I also like being able to see the whole process of restoration in one continuous format rather than broken up.
Really been enjoying watching the video shorts Kasper but must admit I also like a longer video to see what you’ve been doing. It’s more like a good catch up. So I’m happy to go with whatever is best for you. And isn’t she beginning to look stunning again. Wonderful craftsmanship on your part. Take care
Are you not fitting anu modern equipment in your car heating and cooling, suspension, turbo, engine upgrade . Don't you think this could lead to similar issues that people faced in the past, which ultimately drove the adoption of advanced technologies to overcome those problems? How do you plan to address potential challenges that these modern advancements were designed to mitigate?
love these long videos Kasper, feels like a shared journey and it is nice to feel that we are along with you in experiencing all that you are in your restoration build.
Good to know! Always hard to know what people want between the 10-40 minute videos. I myself mostly click on things if they’re 20+ because I want a feeling of it being an “episode” of something 🤌
Truly inspiring Kasper. The amount of work and attention to details is outstanding. With these longer videos one can catch a glimpse of the magnitude and significance of your project. Really looking forward to more episodes and adventures later on!
Much appreciated! And yes, it’s definitely a huge project even though it’s a simple car 😂😮💨 I’m here to inspire and warn others thinking about it haha
Long time Instagram follower, first time UA-cam watcher. Easily one of the best things I watch on the Internet fascinating to see how you’re dealing with everything. That you’re striving not to be perfect in terms of finish. Keep up the videos.👏🏻
I do love the short videos, but they always leave me wanting more! i do love a long one from time to time, but i imagine they are harder to keep up with! maybe something in between? i do love seeing all the details of the build, you are doing a fantastic job and the car is looking spectacular!
Love this videos!! Currently restoring 2 Land Rover at the moment, and really enjoy seen someone else going through a similar process to mine. At the end it’s good to remember that they are not new cars, they have their history and it’s nice to remember that rather than to erase and forget.
G’day Kasper, been following your restoration project since you first stated and absolutely loving it. I’m personally a bigger fan for of the long form content, however religiously watch the short form still. Hopefully you get a sec to read this as I just wanted to thank you for sharing your journey with your Land Rover as it gave me the final nudge to finally get my own Land Rover! Specifically a white 1997 Defender 110 300tdi and having the time of my life with doing satisfying and quality repairs and camping in the outback with mates. We’re quite lucky here in Australian as an original market for Land Rovers with quite a few hanging around along with being a dry land with no salt being used on the roads. Really helps with reducing rust. All the best and good luck with the final assembly of the Land Rover! Cheers from Tom.
Hi Tom! Thanks a lot for that, it’s actually very wholesome to see how small videos can bump someone’s motivation to do something similar. Also, very jealous of the AUS weather treating cars better in some ways (all though it being rough in other ways). Hopefully one time in the future I can ship a car or buy a car there for a full year tourist visa trip around the island 🤝🏽
I had a lot of trouble getting into the short video's on this, very hard to keep track in what order they were posted. I much prefer your longer content. It gets me in a certain vibe that I don't snap out of until the video is through.
I'm a much larger fan of the longer, landscape style videos. I actually have UA-cam shorts turned off. And your videos were the only reason I was turn them back on. But I've been following your channel for awhile now. And would show so many friends and family your videos back in the Disco 3. And I loved catching up in this video space with what you're up to far more than the vertical space. It feel more intentional, both as a viewer to sit down and enjoy for more than 60 sec. And likely for yourself to build and edit a longer video. Beyond this point though. I love your attention to detail your putting into this series. 🙏🏼🤙🏼. I bet you can't wait to get er on the road! Good on ya mate!
I’ve been following for sometime the shorts and the longer videos have been watched dozens of times. I enjoy the master class in simple living so much I’m considering rebuilding a land rover station wagon not too far. Keep building, stay safe.
I love to hear that, and I believe you’d handle it! They’re a joy to work on, even though everything takes a bit more time than planned from the start😅🤝
Thank you for making these videos. I really appreciate your way of filming, music choice and narration. Like someone else already said. It feels like catching up with an old friend. Really enjoying these long form videos but also really enjoy watching the shorts. All in all I like to watch your journey whether it's restoring the cars or photography and camping trips.
These long videos are definitely way more enjoyable to me, it feels like catching up with someone, understanding the different struggles and wins you've encountered on your build.
Easier to showcase everything here without a time limit! Glad to hear the longer stuff works to!🙏
I completely agree!
Definitely more longer videos on the build! I'm always left wanting to see more after a short. Love watching things come together as you progress, and I can't wait to see it finished!👍
Glad to hear that! Also way more enjoyable being able to not have a 60 second limit on this 🤝
Longer videos are a preference for me, keep up the cracking work.

Good input! Easy to assume that people understand what’s going on in the shorter ones, but easy to skip 10 videos before the next one 🤌😂

Longer videos please. First vehicle I was ever in was a series 1 as a child on the farm.
Greetings from Orkney
This one’s a tad more comfortable! But nothing beat the charm of a S1!
More to come!
I thoroughly enjoy the long videos and it is brilliant to watch an OCD person doing a restoration! It is then done properly!
So much better watching this on here than a hundred short TikTok clips.
Yeah easy to miss out on videos with the shorter stuff 🤌🏽 thanks for checking this out!
Love the long form videos, chill vibes and the landy.

Hopefully one time in the future I can ship a car or buy a car there for a full year tourist visa trip around the island 🤝🏽
The longer videos are fantastic! Keep up the good work:)
Thank you!🙏
The longer videos are great
Thanks 🙏
Love those longe videos! Inspires me a lot!
Glad you like them!🙏
Juiceboxes AE86 build just got finished after watching the first episode 6 years ago. I'm glad I get to follow you build this land rover now.
Hope I don’t end up spending 6 years on the build 😂🤝 but more videos to come for sure!
I had a lot of trouble getting into the short video's on this, very hard to keep track in what order they were posted. I much prefer your longer content. It gets me in a certain vibe that I don't snap out of until the video is through.
I like the longer video! I have loved this build so far! Keep killing it!
Good on ya mate!
great stuff - more longer videos - amazing knowledge and a really enjoyable watch!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Snd plenty more where it came from 🤝🏽
I’ve been following for sometime the shorts and the longer videos have been watched dozens of times. I enjoy the master class in simple living so much I’m considering rebuilding a land rover station wagon not too far. Keep building, stay safe.
I love to hear that, and I believe you’d handle it! They’re a joy to work on, even though everything takes a bit more time than planned from the start😅🤝
❤ Love the longer format videos. Learning a lot - hopefully can start my own restoration project soon.
Such an inspiration. Thanks so much for the long form vid.
Thanks Travis!
