I quite rarely comment on youtube. But your videos are one of the very few things that lets me completely immerse and relax. Thank you so much, Kasper!
I feel like I know where you’re going with this. Joshua Slocum was the first man to sail solo around the world. He did so in a boat that he all but built by himself. After all the effort now there is peace on the road ahead in knowing all you will need to know about your vehicle. I like it. Well told as always. Love that opening tune too.
This so reminds me of the very first time I got to sit and ride in a Landy aged about 13 and actually have a go at driving it on a friend’s farm. It was an old battered Landy with no roof and we drove it about all summer. This was the start of my love affair with Land Rovers.
Going to fall in love with this series! I have a 85 Land Cruiser I'm starting to restore myself so I always appreciate watching others bring these vintage vehicles back to life!
You are one of the only UA-camrs who’s able to really grasp me into a story, with great subtle visuals, gentle storytelling but ultimately having me yearning to see the end result of your projects. Damn sir, keep doing what you are doing because it really makes me happy watching it.
Awesome video Kasper! Your storytelling is one of my favorite on YT because you got such a chill vibe to you. Much respect for doing all that work by yourself, would love to see every bit and every bolt of your work on the Landies. Thank you.
Truly channelling the California vibes with the no top on. Can't wait to see the transformation that these will undertake. Also I wish Cali had these sort of shop spaces for rent/purchase, it's like damn near impossible to find buildings that will let you do automotive work in.
Thanks for such an enjoyable video. What a pleasure to watch and listen to. You have the audio very well balanced and a great choice of music to help tell the story. I'm subscribing to stay in the loop.
Top notch video, the music was just lovely too. I owned a 1984 SIII SWB about 18 years ago. I put a Rover V8 engine in it and overdrive, free-wheeling hubs and parabolic springs. It sounded like a race car... Wish I still had it. The heater didn't work in mine either... 🙃 Cheers, Paul 🙏🏻
Wonderful look at a lifestyle surrounding (or stemming from?) a truly unique vehicle. It reminds me of my youth and points me to where I’d like to be in my age. Well done.
Kasper, this was such a wonderful video to watch! Your passion for the Land Rover lifestyle shines in all the videos you make. Keep up the fantastic work!! -- The Independent Land Rover Specialists
@@nefas11 It's not the top that's an issue. It's the space from the seat to the floorboard. The early Willy's jeep had te same issue which is why you see taller people riding with their knees hanging outside the vehicle. The 109/110/130 have more room.
If you didn’t already, it’s evident you have a terrible illness that will haunt you for the foreseeable. -There’s always room for another Landy 😂 Excited to see the the project progress! Great work!
This was a really nice video, what a great path you're on. You finially getting the engine started brought back some similar memories with my 110 in my early years of ownership, it can be a hard life living with an old Landy but it is so worth it :)
Yesssss, goals! I’ve been checking your socials daily for updates. I’ve got a disco 3 but the itch to get on with restoring an old series is getting bigger by the day. Can’t wait to watch and learn. All the best mate
hi Kasper greetings from Wales, 2 great projects ! i have done several series 2 and 3 and currently working on a 1973 short wheelbase diesel !! (non turbo) can't wait to see more of your great videos and like others the music you use draws you into the videos even further!!!!! Merry Christmas and a great New Year
That sounds amazing!🤝 really cool little car the SWB’s. So I’m looking forward to the progress myself! Appreciate the point about the music, since it’s one of the thing I can get really annoyed about in other videos if it’s just loud techno over a otherwise nice video 🤝
Well… Looks like the rumor is true … Norwegians are crazy 😂 No windshield… in winter 😅 Anyway Offer stands … if you run through Germany … you can stop anytime here at my place 👍☺️🖖
His story telling style and music selection are everything. Great work Kasper!
🫶 thanks for that man!

Means a lot man 🤝 thank you!
Land Rovers put a smile on your face... These are cars you want to drive, not only to go from A to B. Happy Land Rovering, David.
Couldn’t agree more!
It seems Kasper, you are heading on a journey of nostalgia and fun. Enjoy the journey, this was a lovely video.
Thanks man 🤝🏼
Enjoying this new take on your journey. Enjoy the vintage Land Rovers and keep the stories coming, please.
Thanks 🙏

Thanks man. 100% peace of mind will be great (at least not worrying about what is breaking down without knowing how to deal with it) 🤝
@@kasperhoglund and not needing an internet connection to figure out how to fix it either 😄

I spent my childhood in the 1970s working in my Dad’s workshop on SII & SIII LRs.
This brings back great memories, thank you.
14:40 needs to be a wallpaper, such a beautiful shot of those two tanks.
The beauty of social media, i've been following your work for a long time and its exceptional to see your progress
Thank you for that! 🤝
Going to fall in love with this series! I have a 85 Land Cruiser I'm starting to restore myself so I always appreciate watching others bring these vintage vehicles back to life!
A shame to see them rot away! 🤝 will easily live another 50 years once done
Excellent video! I purchased a 1974 88” this summer and have started to rebuild. Looking forward to the progress!
Sounds great man! So cool looking next to the 109» with it beeing so short but otherwise the same dimensions

Sounds great! My 109” didn’t have an overdrive, so this drive was very pleasant. Apart from the lack of heat though!😅

That’s really good to hear. Started off doing it with a more modern vehicle, but good to go back to basics with these old ones.
a limestone cowboy! ...and that military 109 hardtop is quite stylish!
Excited to watch the progress on the build

really enjoying this. great music selection, i feel like in a LR caffee
Ahhh lovely. Fortunate that I am too tall to fit in an 88, so I am not tempted to take on one of these projects! Have fun my friend!
