LPM CLASSIC - selling, buying and restoring classic cars: / lpmclassic
Got a bit occupied these weeks since there was a lot of stuff going on. Plus some tough decisions to make personally.
Back at it with a new setup in a small garage with another Land Rover Series 3 project.
It's in need of some serious work, and there is some heavy rust work needed on the bulkhead. But it will be brought back to its former glory. And will easily live to see another 50 years.
The complete build will be very well documented here, so stay tuned for more! - Авто та транспорт
His story telling style and music selection are everything. Great work Kasper!
🫶 thanks for that man!
I quite rarely comment on youtube. But your videos are one of the very few things that lets me completely immerse and relax. Thank you so much, Kasper!
Means a lot man 🤝 thank you!
This so reminds me of the very first time I got to sit and ride in a Landy aged about 13 and actually have a go at driving it on a friend’s farm. It was an old battered Landy with no roof and we drove it about all summer. This was the start of my love affair with Land Rovers.
I feel like I know where you’re going with this. Joshua Slocum was the first man to sail solo around the world. He did so in a boat that he all but built by himself. After all the effort now there is peace on the road ahead in knowing all you will need to know about your vehicle. I like it. Well told as always. Love that opening tune too.
Thanks man. 100% peace of mind will be great (at least not worrying about what is breaking down without knowing how to deal with it) 🤝
@@kasperhoglund and not needing an internet connection to figure out how to fix it either 😄
Literally happened the first day with a bad earth connection and I could just follow the cable finding the problem 🤝
@@kasperhoglund just might need a heater though 😂
It seems Kasper, you are heading on a journey of nostalgia and fun. Enjoy the journey, this was a lovely video.
Thanks man 🤝🏼
Enjoying this new take on your journey. Enjoy the vintage Land Rovers and keep the stories coming, please.
Thanks 🙏
I spent my childhood in the 1970s working in my Dad’s workshop on SII & SIII LRs.
This brings back great memories, thank you.
Land Rovers put a smile on your face... These are cars you want to drive, not only to go from A to B. Happy Land Rovering, David.
Couldn’t agree more!
Great video as always.
Thanks!
Another awesome video!
Cheers Craig!
You are one of the only UA-camrs who’s able to really grasp me into a story, with great subtle visuals, gentle storytelling but ultimately having me yearning to see the end result of your projects. Damn sir, keep doing what you are doing because it really makes me happy watching it.
Really glad to hear that 🤝
a limestone cowboy! ...and that military 109 hardtop is quite stylish!
14:40 needs to be a wallpaper, such a beautiful shot of those two tanks.
Going to fall in love with this series! I have a 85 Land Cruiser I'm starting to restore myself so I always appreciate watching others bring these vintage vehicles back to life!
A shame to see them rot away! 🤝 will easily live another 50 years once done
Always good to see you Kasper :)
🫶 thanks Dany!
really enjoying this. great music selection, i feel like in a LR caffee
to see the joy in your face, let’s me smile 😊
😬🤝 happy with the old cars now hah
Truly channelling the California vibes with the no top on. Can't wait to see the transformation that these will undertake. Also I wish Cali had these sort of shop spaces for rent/purchase, it's like damn near impossible to find buildings that will let you do automotive work in.
A shame! Got this whole space for 250$ a month 🤝
WOAH that's such a fantastic deal. Congrats, can't wait to see the space also be reimagined!
@@kasperhoglund
Excited to watch the progress on the build
Thanks for that! 🤝
The beauty of social media, i've been following your work for a long time and its exceptional to see your progress
Thank you for that! 🤝
Top notch video, the music was just lovely too. I owned a 1984 SIII SWB about 18 years ago. I put a Rover V8 engine in it and overdrive, free-wheeling hubs and parabolic springs. It sounded like a race car... Wish I still had it. The heater didn't work in mine either... 🙃 Cheers, Paul 🙏🏻
Sounds great! My 109” didn’t have an overdrive, so this drive was very pleasant. Apart from the lack of heat though!😅
Awesome video Kasper! Your storytelling is one of my favorite on YT because you got such a chill vibe to you. Much respect for doing all that work by yourself, would love to see every bit and every bolt of your work on the Landies. Thank you.
Appreciate that! Plenty of nuts and bolts to be fixed on this new project over the next months!🤝
This is amazing, great job, I'm jealous :-)
Thanks!🤝
Excellent video! I purchased a 1974 88” this summer and have started to rebuild. Looking forward to the progress!
Sounds great man! So cool looking next to the 109» with it beeing so short but otherwise the same dimensions
Wonderful look at a lifestyle surrounding (or stemming from?) a truly unique vehicle. It reminds me of my youth and points me to where I’d like to be in my age. Well done.
That’s really good to hear. Started off doing it with a more modern vehicle, but good to go back to basics with these old ones.
A new projet of life , great kasper
Cheers 🤝
You’re legend mr kasper great video 👍👍👍
I love it!
Cheers!🤝
Great cinematography as always 🔥
Thanks!
I hate UA-cam algorithm sometimes, it just ignored the fact I'm subscribed with notifications and skipped this video. Catching up now!
Yeah it’s a hassle! New one coming tonight 😎🤝
This guy always has the coolest cars!
😎🤝
Ahhh lovely. Fortunate that I am too tall to fit in an 88, so I am not tempted to take on one of these projects! Have fun my friend!
You can alway remove the top…just saying.
@@nefas11 It's not the top that's an issue. It's the space from the seat to the floorboard. The early Willy's jeep had te same issue which is why you see taller people riding with their knees hanging outside the vehicle. The 109/110/130 have more room.
Kasper, this was such a wonderful video to watch! Your passion for the Land Rover lifestyle shines in all the videos you make. Keep up the fantastic work!! -- The Independent Land Rover Specialists
It’s a joy when these are not giving me a hard time! 🤝😂
Im subscribing for this project I hope I see it completed
I'm looking forward to seeing your progress, good luck!
Cheers man!
Loving your work as usual
Thank you! Cheers!
Yesssss, goals! I’ve been checking your socials daily for updates. I’ve got a disco 3 but the itch to get on with restoring an old series is getting bigger by the day. Can’t wait to watch and learn. All the best mate
Love this new truck and looking forward to seeing what you do with it too.😁
Thanks mate! It’s originally from Ireland back in the 70s, so definitely need a drive trough uk and back “home”
The sticker on the back is for the River ilen Anglers club in Skibereen Co. Cork Ireland
Thanks for such an enjoyable video. What a pleasure to watch and listen to. You have the audio very well balanced and a great choice of music to help tell the story. I'm subscribing to stay in the loop.
I love it! Excited to see more of this!
Thanks Thomas!
Sick video as always, really 1 of my favorite LR channels out there.
Thanks 🫶
If you didn’t already, it’s evident you have a terrible illness that will haunt you for the foreseeable.
-There’s always room for another Landy 😂
Excited to see the the project progress! Great work!
I need help, and I know it 😮💨😂
This was a really nice video, what a great path you're on. You finially getting the engine started brought back some similar memories with my 110 in my early years of ownership, it can be a hard life living with an old Landy but it is so worth it :)
Thanks for that! Worth the struggle 🤝
Will follow this one for sure👍
Cheers!
I don't want to put you pressure but now we all have great expectations 😂 Congrats anyway for the car and for the garage/studio 👌🏼
Haha, it’s going to be good 😎🤝
This was beautiful:)
Thanks man🤝
Saw it, loved it and I'm so impressed by your motivation to live and breathe the creator life. 🤙😊
Thanks! Got to love the cool 88” platform!😮💨
@@kasperhoglund Yeah, 88 without the roof, the perfect summer drive. 👌 Good luck with your project and I will be following along with close eyes. 🤓
dude this is looking nice
Cheers!🤝
Well done!
Cheers 🤝
You're my favorite Norwegian!
🤝🥹 honored
hi Kasper greetings from Wales, 2 great projects ! i have done several series 2 and 3 and currently working on a 1973 short wheelbase diesel !! (non turbo) can't wait to see more of your great videos and like others the music you use draws you into the videos even further!!!!! Merry Christmas and a great New Year
That sounds amazing!🤝 really cool little car the SWB’s. So I’m looking forward to the progress myself!
Appreciate the point about the music, since it’s one of the thing I can get really annoyed about in other videos if it’s just loud techno over a otherwise nice video 🤝
inspiring story!
Cheers man 🤝
Konge video!! Editing, story telling og musikk er så bra:)
Takk 🤝🤝
The music is always so brilliant in these. Where do you find these songs? I'd love to see the playlist man
Find most of it in Epedemic (royalty free music for YT use)
great vid as always :))
Thanks!
Awesome!!
Thanks mate!
Yes!

your so lucky brother, most in the uk are totaly rotten, and in need of a new chassis, Others are so expensive,
Cheers, we have a weird market here in Norway 😬🤝
lol didn’t have time to watch all episodes yet but question do you like abuse lol. Love the new car. Great find
Stuff has been happening 🤝😂
You can get heated windscreens for series land rovers ;)
Oh trust me, that’s the plan for the white one!😂
Stilig laget video! Kult å se hva du får til 😊
Takk for det 🤝😎
Is the Dodge Ram truck at 0:47 on the left side a pretty uncommon occurrence in Norway? I was quite surprised to see one. Fantastic video, Kasper!
Yeah, not a common choice here (used for hauling boats and stuff in this example)🤝 thanks!
hey, I switched mine (1980 88 lightweight) to electronic ignition, starts on a quarter turn now
A 123ignition on the shelf and ready for the 109” now! 🤝
What is the artist and song on the beginning?
Another great video. Does anyone know the name of the song at 13.37?? 🙏
Thanks 🤝 Big Open Sky Flyer - Kylie Dailey
Thank you Sir
Så du kjøpte det nye prosjektet på Sola? :)
Én av dem ja 🤝
ny video lets gooo
😎🤝
Well…
Looks like the rumor is true … Norwegians are crazy 😂
No windshield… in winter 😅
Anyway
Offer stands … if you run through Germany … you can stop anytime here at my place 👍☺️🖖
Cold blooded humans out here 😂 thanks!
yet another great video!! does anyone know the name of the song at the end!?
Thanks! It’s Big Open Sky Flyer - Kylie Dailey
It’s very strange as an American seeing a 3rd generation dodge ram Cummins in Norway
Who sings the song around the 14:51 mark? 14:51
You don't have toyota over there?
Plenty, but dont want one. Not really a huge interest for them here
Traduire en Francais.Mercie
Why not ...
Same thought I had 🤝🏼
Are you married? The ring suggests that but you seems to be solo in your videos... Cheers
Just old wedding rings from passed family members 🤝🏼
