I can absolutely see what she's saying.
I can relate to the idea that a media narrative that is negative tons you of the motivation to even try.
When I left school in the UK the narrative in the news constantly was the unemployment figures.
I absorbed the message that there weren't enough jobs, it was difficult, almost impossible to find a job, so I felt defeated from the outset so I didn't even try to find a job.
If you're continually told that the odds are against you, it robs you if the will to try, your already defeated.
So I can absolutely see this and how young black people must feel. Black people must feel so patronised seeing white people virtue signalling wearing t-shirts saying "Black lives matter"
Of *course* they matter. Who on REALITY is saying they diont matter? The t-shirts are stating obvious facts.
The people complaining about the "white lives matter" t-shirts need to admit they're angry because it makes them feel uncomfortably patronised by seeing such a self evident statement.

Jews are not beyond critisism. If anybody claims they cant be critiqued, you absolutely know its not a fair game.
If someone says something, too many assumptions are made. Instead of asking "how did you mean that?" in this age media jumps on every word and simply assumes what was said instead of asking.
Its not a dialog its just a witchhunt.
If you critique people in power, they play "victim".
Kanye did not make any victims, he pointed out problems and you can make the observations to point at jews in power (not any jew, specific ones that happen to be jews).
If decisions lead to massive amounts of abortions especially against black people, thats a BIG DEAL, to wave that away and distract by antisemetic claims, the entire issue is ignored ... the point is black people are pushed by media to have more abortions, and thats not a good thing at all, no matter the intentions.
People benefit from all this, and if that benefits a selected few jews in positions of power, you have to question why they are morally fine with that.
So to ask this questions should be NORMAL, to have dialogs about this is helpful, a net positive.
The massive disregard for dialog and the supposed victim role of a bunch of people is overblowing the entire thing to distract from the initial pointed out issues.
Its a massive irony that jews dont want to talk about anyting that critiques their behavior in power, its much easier to assume the victim role and benefit from it.

Thank you Candace. I agree with you 100%. I have two biracial children and have always taught them that they are just as capable, smart, and worthy as everyone else in this world. It bothers me as a parent that critical race theory, as one example, teaches our children, yours and mine, that they should "consider themselves victimized in society and the victimizers are their white-skinned counterparts." It's an awful message in all aspects and never one that I would share with my children. I recently heard a young man say that he didn't realize he was a racist but he now knows he is one when he says "Hispanics are hard workers." I told him that I would never consider that racism and he really needs to learn what constitutes racism. This is ridiculous and I encourage EVERYONE to read the book by Dennis Murphy "War on the West." Excellent book and really helps explain what is going on in America.

Did the part of the conversation in which saying "Hispanics are hard workers" doesn't really mean anything at all. Whereas saying, for example, "Mexicans are hard workers" is very different. And more likely what the person who said it to him to start off with probably meant.

Superb interview by Mr Marshall. He did not let points slip by in the fluent stream of practiced words from the interviewee; he put counter-positions firmly and politely; and when the interviewee had stated her position and no agreement was possible, he did not respond (as we see elsewhere) with excited repetition or outrage, but moved on to the next point. His technique deserves study, and his editor should give him a raise.

"and when the interviewee had stated her position and no agreement was possible, he did not respond" I cannot speak for how media is done in other countries. Having been exposed to Media Studies in higher education in the US, it is my understanding that an interviewer's job is NOT to get a guest to 'agree' or 'disagree' but rather to ask the questions and let the guest speak trusting the audience's intelligence and that they will arrive at the desired conclusions (Agenda Setting Theory-Communications). That does not mean that a particular agenda is behind the curtain, but in the event there is, there is still a mechanism to do that but it would not be considered 'ethical' if you are one that subscribes to the importance of impartiality in news reporting which is "JUST THE FACTS" without the 'sway' (agenda setting). In this regard, I do believe this was a good interview, but it's important to get away from this notion despite the massive swaying that occurs in the industry which is a slap in the face of many fine journalists and reporters who do their best to align with the guiding principals and ethics of the industry, that it is appropriate to 'tackle' a guest and get them to agree or disagree with the interviewer's slant. That is NOT quality media that is brainwashing. I cite this not based on opinion but on academics in the field and accepted professional norms ON PAPER.

I'm English and totally disagree with Marshall with regard to the George Floyd incident. If you watch the whole incident from when Floyd was in the shop to when he ended up on the ground, which he requested, then you will know that he repeated on several occasions that he couldn't breathe. Once very obviously when the police officers eventually got him into the back of the police car.
The police officer's knee was plainly not on his neck. You can argue that the officer should have been more aware, but to me he was doing his best to keep Floyd and the general public safe.
I believe that that officer was thrown under the bus because the authorities were scared of the possible backlash from the black community. But it didn't prevent that backlash anyway so they would have sent a better message by supporting that officer. If I were a police officer there, I would not expect support from my superiors and would adjust how I responded to incidents. e.g. I might just let a black suspect go.

I thought so too at the outset. However, I was a little unsettled by his hair. Finally, I realised that my discomfiture about his hair had been intuition. He demonstrated increasingly 'woke' emotional responses, particularly when discussing the circumstances surrounding George Floyd's death and Kanye West's allegedly anti-semitic tweet. Candace preferred facts and analysis, and greatly impressed me by fiercely defending her friendship with Kanye, and admonishing her weasel inquisitor for trying to put pressure on her to betray him. They say things like "I don't want to talk about this or whatever " when you bring up important points or questions. It's not a recent issue either that our children are looking at their teachers as their main authority figures. I don't like this.
