    The gaming keypad is great when you're a laptop user, you can take it on the go and play games even on not so big spaces without sacrificing any of the feel of a mechanical keyboard. Also when you don't have to worry about the full size keyboard cause it's always gonna be sitting there in your laptop for when you need to login, etc.

      I'm also considering the gaming keypad as a way to experiment with mechanical keyboard switches. The full size keyboard gets the firm tactile switches, then maybe try out the lighter linear switches in this one.

    The one handed keyboard is really great for hot keys/keybinds. My dad uses one when he paid fortnite and he uses it for building since it’s tricky on pc for beginners, it’s done wonders for him

    I just saw your building vid like today and I came to your channel and it’s amazing. I have a whole sized keyboard but I’ve been kinda wishing for a 60%. But I don’t have a giant mouse pad like that or a gaming mouse so I always keep it on the small pad so I don’t have an issue. Anyways you’ve earned a subscriber. Keep making great vids man!

    Well, I think the 40% (half) keyboard is going to be the best for me, cos I game on a laptops and I can just put it beside the laptop (to the left) and have my mouse to the right. Instead of having to push the laptop back to be able to fit a keyboard in front of it.

    when you play shooters with low sens, you need space for your mouse. that's where the one handed keyboard comes in. i have a tkl and i was constantly hitting it with my mouse. that problem dissapeared when i got a 1 handed keyboard. using it only for warzone and nothing more. for that, it does it's job perfectly

    I just bought a 1 handed keyboard because didn’t have enough room on the first floor for my desk, so I set my pc and second monitor up on a small table next to my couch. I put my main monitor on a monitor arm and it swings out in front of the loveseat you can recline the chair and angle the monitor so it’s comfy. I have a board with a mouse pad attached to it on my right arm test, and the single hand keyboard on the left and just lay back to play games.

I have really gotten into Deep Rock Galactic on my Xbox, and I've been using a standard MnK. I think I'll try the one-handed keypad, as I don't really need to type for it or anything. Tilt the keyboard like a pro
    90 degree for extra try hard
    45 degree for casual pro
    20 degree for extra small space
    Or
    Use stand/something with height for floating keyboard so mouse can go under the numpad side

    Years ago i used to use a nostromo (early one handed keyboard that was the early version of the razer one handed keyboards) and loved it. I used it for games AND for design.it was great in photoshop and illustrator. Even some edit programs. I used it in addition to a regular sized keyboard.I’m considering getting another one for games and to also use it for music. My music program has so many shortcuts and it’s a pain sometimes to reach for the regular keyboard all the time. I think having one hand on a gaming mouse with macros and one hand on the keypad with macros will be enough to bind all of my most common shortcuts. I also already have midi controllers but they only cover a few certain functions.p and they aren’t set up to remap key functions.

  • @onstr
    @onstr 2 роки тому

    Hahaha I'm watching this because I got a redragon one handed "gaming" keyboard just 'cause it looked cool. It's coming in today, so i can't say yet how well it works, but yeah. You got me. I will say that the macro buttons were a big plus for me, which is how I log into my games (via macro buttons) so not having the full keyboard isn't a dealbreaker for me.

    Now im going to buy a keyboard and im thinking between hyperx alloy core and hyperx alloy origins core, but i like alloy core more bcs it has numpad. For me numpad is important bcs i dont only play games, i have homeworks on excel, autocad, catia etc. and its much faster and comfortable to use numpad. But the biggest difference is that alloy oringins core is mechanical, but alloy core isnt, but i dont want to spend too much money bcs alloy core is much more cheaper and it has numpad, alloy origins core is only mechanical, but it doesnt have numpad and it cost more. Also i dont play games competitively, im not streamer, youtuber or professional player which play on tournaments, im just casual gamer so i think i wouldnt notice between that 2 switches. Also i like i said before i dont want to spend too much money so i dont want to buy tkl and full size keyboard and then switch both of them when i game or when i have to do some work, thats ridiculous
