The interview with the security expert, such a good one. Craig really understands, listens, while he is still able to throw in some laughs every now and then. If only more host could do that... imagine fallon interview this guy.
I agree, it was a great interview. Craig always gives the guests respect and truly listens to them. LOL I cringe to imagine Jimmy Fallon interviewing him...
Don't get me wrong...Fallon is amusing....however, he interrupts so much that it makes the interviews exhausting to watch. Craig was the only one i watched until he went off air (much to my disappointment). Now i watch a bit of Colbert, John Oliver, Seth, and maybe some Kimmel but not as faithfully as I watched Craig Ferguson.
Gavin de Becker's assessment re governments' and the media's use of fear is spot on. In his earlier career Craig Ferguson had a comedy act under the pseudonym of Bing Hitler (I'm Scottish too and remember him well), in which he was known for ripping hecklers a new one. Great to see my countryman has become a very successful, engaging and entertaining interviewer.
I once tried to listen to his old comedy material... English is not my native language, but I deem myself quite good at understanding it, having NO problems at all following shows like this one, even when watching notorious fast talkers like (young) Russell Brand... still, I had to give up on his Scottish. Didn't understand a single word. 😆
@@Zett76 Did you ever watch and understand Billy Connolly? :-) Russell Brand isn't Scottish but has a vast vocabulary and talks like a machine gun. I find him hard going at times too.

I started with a little question; what could make a rational person desperate enough to do something so extreme? Before I could blink I went from a Confederate flag waving, Reaganomics championing, Limbaugh loving teenager to so far left Obama wasn't in my top 3 in the primary and wishing I could start a new political movement, America's angry mom. Because at this point I don't care who started it I'm stopping it and I am so disappointed in everyone in power. This is what happens when a generation grow up chanting the slogan "greed is good" 🤦🏻♀️
