Can you still do 3d if youre using the flat melt method?
If the beads are completely melted with no holes and all flat, they cannot be assemble into 3D. 😉
Hello! Super new to the Perler world and you've been a huge inspiration!
I have the same iron! My light flicks on and off as I'm using it. Is that normal for you? I am also have an issue where the center beads of my projects are barely fusing, but the beads on the most outside of the project fuse? I have poked holes and not poked holes. No difference.
That's why I'm asking about the light. Is mine just defective and turning on & off and I'm not getting good fuse?

Hiii there!! I’m happy you are starting with Perler beads Art! I hope you will have fun and make a lot of amazing things! I think the light might turn off when the iron has reached to its heat level… it happens to my iron as well. It auto cools down a little when you’re not using it. Try going circular motion with the tip of the iron and start with a lower heat first so that it won’t overheat the outside layer.
I have the same problem sometimes so I focus on one area and when they look slight melted then I moved to another area and coming back one more time. It takes time to experiment but I’m sure you will get it 😉🌸!
