The Process

In this video I use Adobe Photoshop CC to create 3 Logo Designs for famous brands. Each logo has various challenges and I use a multitude of design tools to accomplish my goal. I go over illustration techniques, photo bashing, painting, and color.
This was a great design challenge, and it's something I recommend everyone try out!

Your hyperrealistic Jurassic Park logo should be used in a real movie. It's so cool, it fits better than it should.

that would be a dumb idea. because a more complex logo with more colors = more printing cost! that's why companies keep the logos as simple as possible
The Starbucks logo looks a little weird, but Jurassic Park is awesome

Great video, one tip:
I would like to see the final products in the end before/after and for more seconds... i had to literally go back few times to pause and see the logos, but a side by side comparions that last 5-6 sec each in the end while you say your outro would be great.

The Starbucks logo has really nailed it.
So does the Jurassic Park logo, and if they ever manage to reboot the Jurassic Park movie then i'll definitely going to see it in theaters.

This one thing I agree with Starbucks on. The siren lures innocent, unsuspecting folks to them in tantalizing ways, leading them to their deaths. Pretty much a one-to-one match for the Starbucks policy.

I loved your Starbucks and Jurassic logos particularly, though I also understand why the original logos are simplified representations, and the many reasons that suits their use scenarios; I really loved the fun you had with this idea of kinda taking them back to their inspiration. The explanation of the modern graphics tools and principles was also excellent tutorial for those learning.

I'm impressed as to how you apply highlights and shadowd on the sides consistently. I'm a beginner at editing images and find it hard to apply highlights or any other effects that with straight or consistent spacing.

3:58 you couldv'e used the puppet warp tool and it would have been easy to bend the points on the crown, and all you had to do was one side, crop it then do horizontal flip instead of worrying about bending both sides of the crown
