@@wolololer The camera doesn't do that slope justice. It would've been impossible to move over at that point as it is so steep. He did the best he could, running until it flattened out a bit.

Oh, how I enjoy sitting here sipping my coffee on my cozy warm couch watching these picturesque beautiful events. Hopefully, some more viewpoints of the same event coming. Great job with the race. The only thing that could make it better for me personally would be a small position tracker in the corner post-editing. I try and keep count of how many are ahead but I can never be sure if a person and their bike on the side of the track are involved or just watching. Not to mention those that get swallowed by the wilderness as did the person that fell shortly after you. lol Thank you for sharing these with those of us too lazy to leave the couch. *sips more coffee*

I don’t ride bikes, I don’t follow bike racing, however, this has to be the best race in the world, the skill and stamina are unreal and there is no bullshit, first down wins. Nice job!

BIG MISTAKE all types of DH riders do, even in World Cup quite often! · There's almost no substitute for crouching when the trail is smooth Just today, in Les Gets, the one Norwegian girl racing for the Athertons made up like 3 seconds in the very short final split by making herself as small/compact as possible. Gravity is a Hell of a force and pedaling is both more exhausting and creates quite a lot of drag. I also remember how, a few years ago, Gwin won in Croatia because he crouched like a little it was the TdF in the final part inside the town. Speedometers are GREAT to test these things out (GPS in your camera or a traditional one), use them often when practicing and exploring techniques!

Love watching this race - absolutely awesome, but also kind of depressing.....my bike is capable of doing it, but unfortunately my skill and fitness level is not...haha -- great video as always.
Everybody can go and try! I have done it this year for the first time, with no preparation and two broken ribs... Not easy at all but you are not obliged to go fast ;) And pleasure is already there!
