I am going to law school this fall, and this will even be my first trip to the US. I am so excited and also a bit nervous, and it is really helpful to see videos like this to learn what life in law school is like. Hope to see more videos from you in the future!🥰
Congratulations on getting admitted to law school and I hope you enjoy your experience here in the U.S.!! Good luck this fall and thank you for your support!
Thank you for your tips!! I am a UK student and was wondering do law firms Open Days was a thing in Canada, cause UK law firms do lots of that. I am hoping to gain insights into the culture/work environment. Thank you!!
Hey ! I hope you’re doing great. I know this might /might not relate to the video but as someone who is interested in pursuing a law degree but gets discouraged (due to the homework and the feeling that I won’t understand the material) what would you advise? I have done a mock class but I feel like it does not even compare to a real class. Thank you in advance and I really enjoy your videos 🫶🏻
Hi!! I know that it seems really daunting because everyone says law school is really hard but trust me when I say nobody "understands" the material when they first start law school. It's a universal experience and as long as you are dedicated and truly do your best, you will be okay! Remember that everyone starts at the same spot, and nobody is perfect on their first try. My advice would be to take it one day at a time and don't count yourself out, you are just as capable as other people, it just takes a lot of effort and time. Also, getting accepted into law school is a signal that the admissions people see that you are capable of graduating and passing the bar. That doesn't mean that you need anyone's approval and I'm not sure if you have applied yet, but its just something to keep in mind for encouragement!
I'm really introverted so it takes a lot out of me to approach people and network, but I never regret it when I do it. I have to give myself a mini pep talk before every networking event lol. Also, you can take it at your own pace, all it takes is 1 person that you really hit it off with and maintain the relationship to change the trajectory of your career.
@@thelegaldiaries aw thank you 🫶🏻🫶🏻 I really appreciate it. Knowing that everyone initiates at the spot is reassuring. Like you mentioned there just needs to be effort and time. Your videos are inspirational especially your kind words, I hope you continue doing more videos so not only I feel motivated but others as well.
Do you think 26 is too late to start as a paralegal certificate degree at a junior college or should I go straight to undergrad/law school? I wanted the experience first xx
Noo girl I'll jump in I'm older than that and jumped right in, learn your learning style as she mentions. Give Yourself A Chance! I just started going back to school and I promise it's worth it if it's something you truly want 🫶🏽
It’s never to late, I’m 23 and I never ever thought I’d even think about going down the law path, but I am. There is a time and place for everything and nothing happens for a reason. If you really desire it in your heart, go for it ❤❤❤❤
please never stop posting, i plan on going to law school, not in the US but your videos inspire me a lot! You've got great things ahead of yourself!
Awwww thank you!!!

I don’t think it’s too late at all, honestly a lot of the paralegals I’ve worked with have been older!

Absolutely Not! You’re never too old to pursue your dreams. Wishing you the best of luck 🙏🏽 I’m sure you’ll make a great attorney
You can do both! Get your AA in Paralegal studies, then transfer to University for a Bachelors.
