Hey from Burlington, have the same bike except the KRT edition which I’m changing into a track bike this winter. Must be nice to live close to Canadian Tire Motorsports park, so much going on there for racing. Glad to see you’re enjoying the bike and the mods you’ve done so far. I definitely recommend checking out CSBK races throughout Ontario if you have time.
Hey there CBR, I live in South Carolina. I have the same bike. Love it. I put clear Stomp Grip strips on the plastic side cowlings for my knees. They work great and are minimally visible. But I can’t decide on what tank pad to put on top that won’t take away from the beautiful paint job and aesthetics of the bike. Have you found anything or thought about this? I do need a tank pad because I don’t want the paint job to get scratched up.
Label Bike out of Italy, The shipping $ and time may turn you off. They have an Amazon store. On my busa, I went with the one from Suzi and I was blown away at the high quality.
@rogerdodgerxd I personally know of two people the ride stock height liter bikes and are under 5 foot 5 It is not about can it is more about want. You don’t need both feet on the ground. DO NOT lower a bike unless you talk to people that really know what is going on, not UA-camRS and generally not your dealer. Lowering is ok if done CORRECTLY, which no dealer or UA-camr does. Talke to suspension experts like K-TEC and talk to race engineers…..yes, I said race engineers. You are changing the engineering of the vehicle, best understand what the changes are going to do.
@@dennisgibb7958 Thanks for your insight! I agree with you on not lowering the bike, however, do you think lowering the bike by an inch would negatively affect the bike? If not, I will go to the shoe route where the shoes will have height boosters.
I'm 5'10" -5'11" and I can basically flat foot the bike, my buddy who is shorter than me sat on the bike and said it was easy to sit on and can still get both feet down on the ground. Dennis touched on it get an expert to adjust your bike if you REALLY need to lower it because youre throwing off a lot of the bike suspension when you do.
It's not over kill on power like a 1000cc, I don't find the riding position to aggressive as well so I can't complain. I use it to go into the office and do small errands and zero complaint
What part of Ontario are you in? I live in Northern NY and less than a hour and half from Ottawa. I have family in Orléans I go visit. I love Montréal by the way. That’s my favorite city to visit.

He passed several cars on the bike but then remained in the left lane, the Honda minivan was trying to continue at a higher speed, and he seemed to be offended instead of just moving right to the travel lane where he should have been. The idea is that make your pass and then you move back over so that faster cars can then pass you.
Dont know if you know this, but your bike has a quickshifter only going up. so much better than using the normal method. just an observation from your vid, beautiful bike tho. Ive got a '22 zx6

It does have it but old habits die hard, and I generally don't QS from 1st to 2nd
