    This is done using D5 Render rendering software for architectural visualization. It’s a great 3D render software that saves a ton of time for architects because it helps you achieve the level of detail and realism not available in any other similar software.

    Great vid Nuno!😀 I really like how you solve the rim-light problem. You could however also apply the shutters to the rim light to focus the light on the top of the chair without the light touching the floor around the chair. The angle will of course not be as steep as in your render, but you could still cover the backrest, and perhaps the tip of the seat 🙂

    Nice, but.. What was the point of loading the HDRI background if you turned everything off afterwards (kind of) and you set up your own lighting for the scene?

      I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's to take care of the reflection map. Meaning, it wouldn't look real if the reflection map was the sky and a grassy field. Even though you can't make out exactly what it is because the reflections are not mirror-like in appearance, I think it just looks "off" if you don't apply that background.

    How can I get white background in d5 render? It always comes out greyish

    • @NunoSilva3d
      @NunoSilva3d  4 місяці тому

      You can render the color of map, then in Photoshop select only the background, and adjust the levels.
