- These are the FIRST early signs of autism we noticed. For some of our autistic children we did see baby autism signs, and for others it was toddler autism signs. Each child has had such a unique road but I hope this helps other parents or caregivers!

I just want to say thank you for ALL the sweet words, comments, and messages you guys are sending me. The energy on the comment section is just amazing and make me want to just create ALL the videos for you LOL. It has taken a lot of self reflection to get where I am but I am so happy to be back here :)

There's so much truth to the statement of how that one little thought makes you re-evaluate the rest of your childhood and things start clicking into place. I was recently diagnosed (in my early 30s) and my "this is not normal" was while working with adults on the spectrum in a center; this first thought was about ten to eleven years ago. I was leading a group and we were working on conversation starters and all I could think was "I can't do this. I ask questions that answer my own questions. I hate small talk and this is small talk." Yet, all the other therapists could do that goal with ease. Then it started reminding me of how I avoid eye contact because it makes me feel uncomfortable, like I'm staring into someone's soul. And, I prescript conversations - at least my side - to reduce anxiety. There's a lot more but everything just started clicking into place and I decided to see a specialist to see if I had the diagnosis.
I will say that watching your videos made me feel more comfortable pursuing a diagnosis. I'm not sure how to explain it. Now, I'm just trying to figure out what to do with my diagnosis. Thankfully, my husband and best friend are supportive. I think my mom is supportive too but doesn't know for sure what to do. My best friend wasn't surprised when I told her, her exact words, or along those lines, were "I thought you had Asperger's in high school, extreme social anxiety in middle school, and were just weird in elementary school. Once I realized you had Asperger's (not the correct diagnosis now but helps explain my autism more in my mind) it was easier to understand you and be your friend."
Sorry for the essay comment. But I just wanted to say thank you for your videos. And, things really do click into place once you receive a correct diagnosis.
I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in my late 40s, I really struggle with getting any kind of support and help, I got no help at school are at work, bullied most of my life

I’m sorry you’ve had such a horrible year, and I hope the 2022 when it comes will be a better year for you and your family. I’m so glad you’re back, but most importantly, I’m so glad you’re yourself again, even though it’s a different you, you’re still here and that’s awesome!

I have a son (30 years old) he was diagnosed with Aspergers a7 years of age. He was showing signs that I recognized at about 10 months. At 6 years school teachers were telling me he needs testing for ADHD. I didn't think he was but agreed to have him evaluated. Doctor said he doesn't have ADHD but does have Aspbergers and IQ of 186. Had to remove him from that teachers classroom and then the school. He was being punished for stims. After changing schools he did wonderfully. He is doing great in the military. He needs that kind of structured environment. Now I am questioning whether I should be tested. Also think my 5 year old grandson may be on the spectrum.
I have 2 girls w autism I have ur Noah as a girl version and ur lex in a girl version lol and I can relate a lot so thank you!!!! I still have some family in denial saying I’m seeing things 🙄😒but they are officially diagnosed and getting the services they need when a mom knows a mom knows

Oh my gosh, hearing you talk about your personal signs remind me exactly of myself. I shake my legs and sway sometimes (it's calming when I'm stressed), I reenact shows in my head to decompres, I do the exact same thing with the radio, I was horribly shy in school (still am), I don't like making eye contact (always have). It honestly never dawned on me that I might be autistic. Thank you for this video!
That’s so interesting about the music/loud sounds! My son is like that. He absolutely hates if music is playing, unless he’s the one controlling it. He even gets upset at my husband or myself singing, even just a couple words. He very much has to be in control of sounds like that. Thank you for sharing!
My son has Sensory processing disorder and at 13 he still covers his ears when I vacuum, every birthday I have pictures of him sitting in front of his cake with his ears covered, the list goes on. However (and we joke about this now) He has no volume control with his own voice. I still ask him, why doesn't it bother you when you are loud? His answer, Because I can't hear myself.
@Jules Elyse lol. My son plays XBox live with all his friends, we thought that if we made the downstairs into a hang out area for the kids, we wouldn't have to listen to him. We were wrong. Now I have the pleasure of listening to a group of boys screaming at each other as if they don't have microphones. I have slowly grown deaf to it though lol.

I have learned so much y tube about autism. I have a granddaughter who has a speech problems. It that there was issues that her brain couldn't make her tounge make the sounds. She also had trouble with eye contact. She went to speech at the Children's Hospital out patient clinic. Then she went to a preschool language therapy by the school system. Her mother kept her out of school. She then went to VPK and continued the speech therapy. The next time I saw her I couldn't believe what was coming out of her. She has improved so much .I told her how much she has improved and her answer back "You told me that already." I was surprised!

The way you described how you knew with Noah was due to the comparison to your other two kiddos I can relate so much too. The same thing happened with my son Jace who is my 3rd kiddo. I had 3 kids under 3. We had a fourth son before we knew Jace was autistic and now I my younger 2 are autistic . My older two have ADHD from there dad.... I started connecting the dots with myself and just got diagnosed as an adult with autism... now I know where my boys got it from.
I have this exact same experience with music in the car with my partner. I can’t cope with it, instant stress, but if I’m alone I love loud music

It's a trait of sensory issues and you can have sensory problems without Autism.
Oh my goodness...you are hitting the nail on the head. The biggest reason I missed my older son's autism for so long (he was diagnosed at 10) was the fact that I did similar stims and had similar issues, never realizing that they were atypical....

I’m just curious-it’s basically not easy to handle an autistic child, especially when you don’t understand their needs. It’s painful being a mom in that situation. So, why are you pregnant again? I’d like to hear your thoughts on that, because you can’t completely deny the possibility that the new baby could be autistic as well, right?
My daughter is a sweetheart but her speech is really delayed. She refuses to talk but understands. She is impulsive and hyper at times. She is attached to me the most. She is ok with other kids but listening and following instructions is hard. Is it a chance of autism?
I would bring up the concerns to her doctor :)

I’m fifteen hopefully soon I’ll get test for Autism soon (I have serval ADHD). Watching these videos make me think about my symptoms. I have what’s called active day dreams, it’s the same thing Noah did in the bathroom.

My 34 year old daughter has autism but this was never her primary diagnosis in 1990 they did not diagnose girls with autism. So she had developmental delays and learning difficulties. Crawled and walked late and was in therapy aged 2-16. She also has a genetic disorder that is usually fatal but somehow she is still here. She has graduated college mainly through online with an AA and a BA. I was studying for an advanced level SPED class and she started reading my book on autism and was like wow that’s me.
So without realizing it she and I have worked through behavioral problems and issues without a firm diagnosis. She still struggles but does mostly ok.

I'm 30 I have Asperger’s Syndrome with ADHD and OCD life is hard and until this day I'm seeing a therapist. I'm totally afraid what my kids would be like.
I was born in 1987 and walked late and talked extremely early (full sentences before walking) but they didn’t diagnose girls back then. I am in a graduate program for SPED and in my autism class I also had my lightbulb moment “hey that’s me!” It’s been so validating to have this part of my identity affirmed.
What are your thoughts on the significantly increased number of children currently on the spectrum as compared to even 20 years ago? I’m an OT, have worked in schools, early intervention and private clinics, and today my caseload is 95% ASD. I think some of it is we are just more educated so more kids are identified, but still it seems like we have so so many kids on the spectrum now as compared to 20 years ago when I started in this profession.
Can I ask what you think? I've been wondering this as well and if it's just because of more knowledge sharing with the internet and stuff or?
Many of us were overlooked, labeled behavior problems, or just slipped through the cracks, 20-40 years ago only the severe cases were considered "autism”. Unfortunately many of us are like me and were abused and punished into behaving like everyone else, my childhood was pure torture and I had to endure until my mid-thirties with an inaccurate diagnosis of bipolar, so thankful a psych intern looked into my childhood behavior reports from school and relied on my interviews of what I remembered from that time period of my behaviors. I still repress the behaviors that got me punished as a child so until someone gets to really know me, I tell them, or they witness one of my meltdowns they have no idea I am on the spectrum. As a child, infant-age 8 or 9 I would have been at the moderate level, by the time I was 10 or 11 I was classified as mild or high functioning. I knew, even then that I thought differently than my peers. I was very good at just checking out of reality and spacing out my environment. I was and still am very tough sensitive, I could only wear certain fabrics without wanting to strip out of my clothes, the softest touch that I was unprepared for was like being punched and I would often hit the person for just tapping me on the shoulder or laying a hand on my back too comfort me, and I can still feel each individual drop of water in the shower and it hurts!
Definitely an acceptance of ASD and neurodiverse diagnoses when most kids were taught to mask or misdiagnosed with behavioral problems, as you point out. I was lucky to be diagnosed with ADHD as a child, so benefited from understanding WHY I experience the world the way I do, and I'm glad I do! I can't imagine living without it! Seems very plausible the allistic pool is smaller than previously thought, and autistic/disability activists have really pushed things forward in bringing universal design and acceptance forward. So much more to be done. Found this video because one of my 12 month old twins may be autistic and both twins definitely have sensory sensitivities... I'm proud of my kids no matter what, and I don't want them to change for a world that should learn to change for them.

My son is doing a degree and yet at age 5-16 years old even I his mother doubted that he would achive! Autism is often a gift that shows only up at adulthood and that is very humbling to everyone else. Obviously not every Autistic child will become a high achiever but every autistic child should have the chance to show their strengths as any A typical person. Thanks so much for your honesty x.
For me my son didn't meet any milestones and I knew he was autistic at 6 months old because thor never looked at me when I called his name and it got worse and worse from there nine months he was infatuated with tags on toys he would fick them all day and night at nine months as well thor knew his schedule to a tee and if I did something off he knew and would have meltdowns and he wouldn't stop crying.. At thors next drs appointment I fought for him to get his dr appointment with the neurologist and at 12 months he was on a waiting list for December so 18 months he was diagnosed I will never forget that day!! I am now on my journey to find out if I am on the spectrum..

My daughter NEVER slept more than five hours in her entire life (she's 23 now). As a baby she slept one or two hours at a time, I was stupid from lack of sleep. She also didn't talk until she was three and so many other things were not typical. My pediatrician thought I was "just a new mother and worried about everything". This is the first time I've heard sleeping issues could be a sign of autism.

What is the process for getting an adult autism evaluation I will be 18 tomorrow hopefully getting a job soon so then I can pay for an evaluation/neuropsychological evaluation. I was born different I didn’t crawl until 15 months and didn’t walk until twenty months also a low toned child physical therapy for several years. My grandmother remembers when I was three I was in a wagon and she was walking me around the neighborhood and there was a little girl outside and my grandmother was trying to make me friends so she asked the child’s mother if we could play the woman said they can play in the front yard I refused to play with the other kid. In kindergarten I read books when my classmates played with toys and interacted with each other. That was the one thing my teachers always said great student well behaved intelligent but does not socially interact with other children. My parents told me when I was two I watched Garfield part one every single day over and over again without a break. I also did a Clifford puzzle every single day it was always at the same time. My mom bought me a Dora Jeep ride on for kids when I was two it was expensive because back then Facebook marketplace wasn’t a thing. And what did I do I refused to ride it because it was too loud. I remember when I was 8 my neighbor was playing music loud and I woke up and told my grandmother so she walks me outside and finds out that my neighbor was playing music but she said it’s not that loud go to bed. I clearly was masking as a kid and never realized when I went to school I was happy I didn’t interact with other kids until third grade but at home I almost literally jumped off the walls got into trouble every day constantly angry and never knew why than. Now I realized it was the days I had substitutes and fire drills and bus evacuation drills and getting delayed in going to lunch and my teacher not letting me be the line leader the days I got bullied.then I made a friend she was shy and she liked that I was different we are still friends now but now she lives in another country because her family had to move for her fathers job. So what is the process to get diagnosed as an adult?There is much more signs just those are more for a psychologist/psychiatrist to hear.
Hi, my grandson is 13 and a half months old and lately I’ve been noticing things that he’s doing or not doing that’s got my daughter and myself wondering if he might be autistic. I brought it up to my daughter just the other day, I was like “ please don’t worry and I think I’m just being overly worried, but I think Ben might have autism” and to my surprise, and relief ( I didn’t want to be the crazy Gran) my daughter said “ I’ve been thinking it as well”.
I then brought it up to my husband and before I got to say what was worrying me he said “ you think Ben has autism?” Which surprised me as well.
I can’t believe we were all thinking it, but none of us wanted to say it, not that it’s the end of the world but we would be lying if we said it didn’t worry us.
I also found out after my daughter and I had the convo that Bens Dads sisters 4 kids all have autism.
No matter what I love that wee boy with every ounce of my being, I pray we are wrong and he’s just being slower and those head shakes, finger flicking, jumping ALL the time and ignoring us 95% of the time when you call his name is just wee quirks, regardless of this he’ll still be the same wee boy, he just might need different types of support that’s all.
He’s also just starting to crawl a little, he usually just flaps about the floor like a wee fish out of water 😂 .
I also really just wanted to say thanks for the vidz, it’s great to hear about the signs and what to expect, because it’s kind of worrying for someone who has no clue. Watching your videos has helped me not to worry to much, I just want to know either way so Ben can get the best support he will need.

Hi love your videos I have an almost 12 year old who has ASD and my youngest who is two has his first paediatrician appointment next week, thank you for sharing your children’s journeys my eldest hit his milestones and was talking at twelve months, where as my youngest hasn’t hit any he doesn’t sleep or eat, gags off most foods. It just shows that all children are different and present differently with special needs. Hoping for a quick diagnosis, wish me luck, I think you and your family are awesome xx

I was a wanderer and my child would run off whenever we had to stand in line for something. I am on the spectrum. My child was never diagnosed but he would run off, lol.
I was not diagnosed with autism as a child because I was too high functioning. I can tell you some of my stims. One was turning a light switch on and off. I could do that for I don't know how long because I got yelled at for doing it. I wonder how long I would have done it if someone had not told me to knock it off? Also, I jumped on the bed. What I really needed was a trampoline. I was a chronic bed jumper although I was told not to. Another thing was spinning in circles, swinging on swings and strangely, chewing on my things. I chewed a lot of Barbie feet.
One time I rattled the lid to a glass vase until it surprised me by breaking. It was a form of stimming. I immediately began panicking and crying. This was a beautiful vase and I had no idea why the movement and sound fascinated me so. Of course my parent was enraged. I know. I should have left it alone but I could not resist the matte finish. It was so appealing to me for some reason.
One thing that really stands out in my mind was this time i had to write a paper and read it in front of a class. The instructor video taped me to critique my public speaking skills. Afterward i watched the video of me reading and was stunned to see myself rocking back amd forth as i read my paper! I had no idea i was even moving! I felt embarrassed.
Another time i had to read something i wrote in front of class in seventh grade. I read a paragraph and then started laughing. And laughing. And laughing. I could not stop. The merciful teacher allowed me to take my seat. The kid behind me asked what was so funny
I said I don't know. I just could not stop laughing.
It's so interesting how everyone presents differently. For me I don't know much of how I presented as a child because I obviously I don't remember much. From what I have been told I had a lot of troubles with potty training and fine motor skills. I was always uncoordinated and while I walked on time it was later compared to my siblings. I didn't respond to my name, hated loud noises, was able to read and speak from a very young age, and had a hard time interacting with my peers. For my niece she never babbled and have very little speech but after a bad ear infection regressed further and became a lot less social and lost what little speech she had. I'm not sure about my sister and my cousins although I know one of my cousins was also an early reader and that my sister spoke very little and had anger issues.
Liam? Um, I think you mean Chuckie Finster? He’s so cute!! My strawberry blonde kiddos had wild manes like that as toddlers.
I was diagnosed at 14, because my signs were overlooked and I was born female. My mum definitely knew something was up, and tried to get me help, but a whole lot of things have happened throughout my life, a big one being my parent's really bad divorce which took the attention away from my brother and I and people started overlooking us even more.
I've struggled with sleep my entire life, and as a kid I would scream and shout when things were too loud. I was seen as a problem child and a bully, but really I was just terribly confused and overwhelmed all the time. I ended up being put in mental hospital when I was 14, which is when I got my diagnosis, and finally access to necessary support, like assisted living (currently looking at a 24/7 staffed apartment, as I can't live on my own) and help with schooling etc. which is a problem for me.

Hi Stephanie! I love this video! I love seeing Noah singing the Tower of Terror song. That’s funny. He’s a great kid. He’s just come so far. Seeing him now, I can’t believe he used to have problems at school. Now he is doing okay. Getting better everyday. He probably still has issues, but he needs to be in the right environment. Oh I was on the spectrum I was diagnosed at around age 7 my parents knew that something wasn't right they went to the doctors and the doctor said I was likely to be on the autism spectrum turns out I was I had a late diagnosis I get a Help in School
I have a couple of therapists that help me with behavioural issues sensory issues and just stuff in general
5:01 My daughter is 19 months old and she has so many of the same symptoms that lex had at that age like I showed my husband and he’s like Kenzie does that like yesterday our church had a Easter thing for kids and she is usually the only toddler at the church and isn’t in head start or day care or anything where she is around other kids her age but as I was saying there was a little girl a couple months older than her there yesterday and she just kinda ran up to her and tried to grab her hand and hug her and button up her jacket keep in mind my daughter has never seen this child ever but she was very hands on with her oh and the eloping thing thank god she can’t turn the door knobs bc she’d be a goner we live like 60 feet away from my husbands dad and grandma and there is a swing set in between our houses we live in the woods on 5 acres of land so I wasn’t stressed I went to grab a chair for my husband’s grandma bc she wanted to watch Kenzie swing well in the 1.5 minutes it took me to get the chair and help her sit in it my daughter was already climbing up my front steps trying to go inside
She also has had this weird obsession with mega blocks like she got sooo many toys for her first birthday but she hasn’t touched any other than the mega blocks I’m gonna talk to her dr about a couple things she does and I think her grabbing her ears way be a form of stimming
I also am gonna get tested for it bc I’ve always been a little “different” as my family says when I was little I use to hide in laundry baskets or if curl up in a ball under my desk and now if I get overwhelmed I will sit in a ball in my closet or in my tub and also about the sound I have like a habit of if anyone turns the radio up or down I have to like make sure it’s on a 5 or a 0
I was diagnosed with adhd when I was in kindergarten but I believe I have autism or I’m somewhere on the spectrum but I was never tested but I’m gonna talk to my dr about it too

I'm going to be honest, I don't know how you moved to Colorado to get help? My son has autism, he was born and raised in colorado. I brought this up to his pediatrician at 2 years old at 4 years old we finally got him seen at children's hospital and they just diagnosed him with sensory processing disorder, I knew that diagnosis was wrong, well I moved my family across the country to Pennsylvania and within 4 months of living here he was diagnosed with autism 2 months before his 8th birthday, had ANYONE actually listened to me in colorado he could have been diagnosed and getting help at 2 years old. They didn't even offer any Genetic testing there.
Most people who live here have had amazing things for their children but that doesn't mean everyone will. Every area, child, and family's needs are going to be different but I am SO glad you were able to get help where you are at as well :)
I believe my Grandson has Autism. He likes to line things up- move them and line up again. He only just started communicating and he is 2.5 years old. Very small vocabulary. He fills up his slide with sticks, sand, and grass- dirt is now something he likes to pick up with his hands. He does not like shaving cream sound coming out of the can. He does not like the happy birthday song. Once he could walk- he loved to play classical music over and over. He has specific things he likes. Pasta- peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fruit, ice pops. My question is can a child outgrow or change their education levels (to put it gently). My daughters oldest girl did not talk until age 3. She made noice/ fluctuating voice noises not words or specific sounds like cat meowing or dog barking or sounds that could be pinpointed as a specific sound. She has avoidance to people and in a specific situation I took her to join in a picture with strangers and she would not look up for a picture. She is going to be 8 in 3 weeks.

The technical term for 'elope' is running away, that's why we adopted that term when referring to marriage. So eloping in ANY sense means to run away.
Have you tried melatonin and cbd oil. I have seen it help kids on the spectrum to eat and sleep
We have tried Melatonin on them, it's helped 2/4 kids. CBD is not something we have tried :)
You said your two eldest have ADHD? Just curious, wouldn’t that be classified as special needs too?
I don't have to do anything really above and beyond different for them. ADHD can DEFINITELY need special needs (it's a spectrum like everything else) but for them, it doesn't affect them in a way that I have to adjust their needs other than a bit more patience which I feel any parent needs.

It’s why I say “typical for all intents and purposes” usually because the other way explaining confuses others more. I mean more “not autistic” but this is an older video and I try to clarify now the 2 oldest aren’t autistic and not say typical

I don't mean this disrespectfully at all but did you ever consider vaccine injury as a cause? When I quit them with my son and had him detoxed of heavy metals, he turned around. ❤
Nope because we delayed and skipped vaccines with still the same outcome. For my kids, it is genetic and that genetic cause was shown before vaccines.
Vaccines don’t cause autism.
This belief started from a 1998 study that was published. The study was investigated and found to be fraud. The scientist lied about the research results to generate attention and get more funding.
There has been numerous studies since and none have found a link between vaccines and autism.

I think we could all find autistic traits in ourselves. I find you very highly social and able to understand your own children very well and relate to us. There is nothing at all awkward about your behaviour. A stim could be a tic to release stress. I have friends who have tics and otherwise they are normal. I could say that I am on the spectrum because as a kid watching a TV show with a story with my mother, I would ask her what was happening. She used to be exasperated that she had to explain it to me. Maybe it was normal for an 8 or 9 year old to not 'get' an adult show. Who knows?!...

my son is 14mo, when he was 4/5mo he started stimming, (scratching until he’d bleed, when falling asleep) his stims started growing (at 7/8mo he started head banging & still head bangs to this day) as well as hand flapping, head shaking, excessive jumping, wrist rotating etc. He started responding to sound very late, as well as his name. He didn’t start clapping until 12mo, and just started waving at 14mo. I was able to have a therapist do an evaluation on my son to see if he would be eligible for a program called “early access” & he was ineligible because he actually scored high on the “tests”, although I have a gut feeling & know something is off with my son. The therapist suggested he may just have sensory issues, but I still think my son may be autistic. I know he’s only 14mo, but like I said, I just have that gut feeling. I truly feel unheard, and invalid. 😔
Record what you are seeing my for the therapist. If they see what you are seeing they may form a different diagnosis.
Keep listening to your gut. I spent 14yrs explain to my daughters doctors,teachers ect. I remember explaining that unless she needs my help for example to get a bowl in a high cabinet, she never truly interacts with her father and I. She never Played with anything, she's always flinched when trying to hug her, clothes feel weird and she would stim and finger posture all the time. I could have written a book but unlike her brother who has ADHD, Sensory processing disorder and couldn't sit still, had to be prompted through the day occasionally distracting in class, his sister "disappeared" in class and among her peers. She always shut done which I would then hear "she's such a pleasure to have in class. Years went by and her younger 2 siblings began passing her with Social skills/pragmatics. I remember telling her therapist, If I was on fire, her younger siblings would be screaming get the hose, call 911, while my oldest sat and did something on her phone. This type of situation ate at me because I didn't know what I had done wrong that my oldest just didn't seem to care. I now know that is far from the truth and it's not that she won't or doesn't want to help, because she gladly will, as long as you specifically tell her what to do. At 14yrs old her diagnosis was a relief not only for her father and to her as well. At first it angered me knowing she was past the age for EI however she still has come so far with therapy and the past few moths, I have finally begun to feel like I know my daughter. The first time she was able to put into words her feelings about something was HUGE.
My advice, keep taking, a mother's intuition is almost always correct. Has he had a Nueropsych evaluation by a trained doctor?
@@stayathomecichlidmom3579 Wow! Thank you for all of that 🥺. My son also does some odd repetitive behaviors, that aren’t usual stims. I’ve recorded videos of his stims, & have shown them to his pediatrician. I’ve seen 3 different doctors, for different advice/opinions. & Nobody seems to have concern. Probably due to his age. The last pedi we seen in our office, did go ahead and put a referral in to see a specialist, more due to my own concerns, he seemed to at least take my word for it. They were not able to set up an evaluation since he’s only 14mo. I believe we have to wait until he is 2. As a mom, I feel lost. He IS a pretty social baby, but still tends to wonder off & do his own thing. He does a lot of vocal stimming (and yes I know this can be typical) but with him, it’s a very particular noise he makes. He does learn words & say them, but then does not continue to use that word. I’m not sure if that’s him regressing, or if I’m being too anxious. He is my first and only baby, but I truly do believe I have a gut feeling for a reason.
@@kendylemilie9567 My youngest is 10 she is NT. (She has a different father) My son although not diagnosed ASD, he does sit at the line. When my oldest was born even though I grew up with a mother who ran a daycare and nieces at a young age, still with my first, I didn't know first hand that certain things should have at least raised a flag or made me bring it up to her doctor. (Social media also hadn't taken off) When my daughter 10 was born, that's when I began thinking,"What is wrong with this child" I'm joking but she truly opened my eyes and made me realize that her sister never did any of this and her brother did some but to a lesser degree. They all talked within "normal range" so it wasn't anything they did or didn't say. (Although my oldest speech was and still is very disjointed and scripted) My oldest didn't babble. I can clearly remember receiving lectures with alot of pointing and pacing back and forth. They knew exactly what they where saying to me and honestly I could kinda figure some of it out. My oldest never took my hand and showed me things,gave me things, insisted that I play a game or dolls, Barbie, set up trains. When I went the bathroom, she never screamed at the door like I went to another country never to return. My 2 youngest I swear had a tracking device on me because they needed to know my whereabouts all the time. If her siblings woke up at night scared they would come sleep with me, she never once has looked for me at night not wanted to sleep with mommy. When I dropped them off at daycare or at Nana's, the 2 youngest would scream "mommy don't leave, when are you coming back" didn't faze my oldest. Those are just examples.
Honestly though, as helpful as it would be and a relief for you to get your son tested, try not to let it consume you. Even without a diagnosis, you still can get him speech and language therapy. He doesn't need a diagnosis for early intervention. I don't know if insurance will cover it but often times it just takes a bit more work to get approval. My son didn't start until he was in kindergarten and I can say without a doubt that because of all the therapy he received even though he started at 5, he would've never been the 13yr old he is today. Even at 15 my daughter has benefited tremendously. Waiting till he's 2/3 is still well within the early intervention timeline.
Boys also tend to be on the later side with milestones. They tend to be more active, wonder more and get into things.

Not to be invasive, but what is your Stim? I have one I do privately, because when I was caught doing it in public the person thought “I was having a seizure too.” I just thought that was interesting.
I used to pick at my clothes a lot (still do sometimes) and I twitch my head to the side sometimes. Is that a sign??? I also talk to myself or repeat some show scripts in an immatative voice (I still do repeat the words from shows to this day)
In a couple of months I have an appointment to find out if I have autism. After watching a few videos from people who are autistic I started to suspect that I might be autistic too. It would answer a lot of questions I've always had about why people have always looked at me as if I was a "freak". I've always suspected that my oldest daughter is autistic, but when I asked one person if she thought that Sasha was autistic she said "I know autism and she doesn't have it", but the way she said it made it sound like she didn't even want to be bothered with the idea. She was diagnosed with ADHD and ordered by her school to be put on Ritalin or they would kick her out of the school, but the meds they tried never had any effect so we took her off of them completely when we moved to a different school area. I'm going to ask for Sasha to get tested for autism while I'm at my appointment

Well when a man and a woman fall in love they share those emotions which can sometimes results in pregnancy.
Since every single person on this earth is unique they are going to want different things. Sometimes they might want different things from you too. Actually, there’s parents all across the world that have a different amounts of children.
But there’s no need for you to be concerned over how many children another person has because it will never effect you. Surprisingly, no matter how many children two complete strangers decide to have you will never have to be apart of that process. In all actuality, you will be so detached from what other people do that it will be absolutely none of your business. So no need to cause any concern.
My 3 babies have autism and 2 months ago I was diagnose with autism .🧩☺️
