- Clorinde is finally coming out, after being introduced at the beginning of Fontaine. In this video I will go over her kit and explain what she does, including her bond of life mechanics, “Night Watch” state, and how to possibly play her. While also going over her weapon and give my thoughts regarding what weapons will be good on her, including artifacts and some possible team types.

I love her kit so much. As a Keqing main since day 1, it's sad to see her fill in that exact niche and be an absolute upgrade, but since it's been 3.5 years, I'm not too upset. But yeah, now I can have a Keqing-style team on both sides! (and I have Cyno yeah but his is much more onfield)
It's like using Vergil on one side and Dante on the other.

Exactly my thoughts! I always loved Keqing‘s playstyle, she was my first 5 star. It’s true that Clorinde is probably a lot better than her, but Keqing still has her Hyperbloom niche which she mainly only shares with Cyno while Clorinde is probably going to be more like a hypercarry :) I really want to get Clorinde too, but I already used all my pulls for Arlecchino xD Well, let’s see… maybe I get lucky, who knows?
Finally got my Lyney - I saw the Clorinde leaks and I'm in SHOCK. I'll definitely be saving for her too.

@@yuugael4010or really AI is trying to get a cadence like that. Ive worjed with voice synthesizing for the good part of 8 years bow and you can pretty much do any voice with enough sample data
It IS an AI voice. It sounds emotionless and the cadence is super off when listing things. They’re just making sure to write things so that the bot can pronounce them correctly. Like writing “Klorand” to make the bot say “Clorinde” correctly. Among the more consistent ai voices but still an ai voice.

Her multipliers are very very low. Take ayato for example. One of the reasons why people say he’s bad is because he can’t hit big numbers due to his very low multipliers. Clorinde’s is like 33% even less than Ayato’s despite having bonus crit and bonus damage in her kit. I am very curious to see what they are cooking with this character.

Multipliers mean nothing during the beta phase let’s wait for an official release before we focus on the actual damage of the unit

Honestly it's probably the best ultimate animation in the game, arlecchino's is also very good don't get me wrong, but clorindes doesn't even feel like genshin anymore. We're in a good era for animations, natlan is gonna be insane at this rate

Tiny Issue at 0:38, Clorinde's picture has some weird artifacts surrounding it. I'm not sure what's causing this issue, but it appears to change based on the device / program viewed on. I noticed it when I was editing the video, but it only appears if the video is paused, otherwise I don't see the artifacts. So I thought it would go away after the view is rendered (but it didn't). I'm not exactly sure what's causing it, and it's not the picture I used either as it doesn't have these artifacts.
Hi! At 5:23, where you talk about her 2nd passive, I was wondering if the effect works even if the attack that decreases bond of life makes the bond of life go below 100 percent. I also saw people that talk about her having low multipliers and I’m in a big need of a dps, so I was wondering if she’s more worth it (most probably will have enough to r1, not that sure tho) or arlecchino (definitely don’t have enough to r1) thank you so much for your time!
Don't trust beta dmg. Arle was the same and her multipliers when she was released is insane.

@@yasskween5958 As far as I'm aware, 100% BoL is just to start getting the crit rate stacks. If you fall under 100% BoL, you won't be able to gain crit rate stacks but the existing stack will remain until it's duration runs out.
@@MistsplitterReforged it says that when BoL is over 100% and you do an attack that increases or decreases it, you will gain 10% cr. So by my understanding of your comment it should still give you the stack even if the attack that triggers the effect makes BoL go below 100%, right?
Clorinde, Yae c4, Furina and Benette will be my team for her.
Hearing “chorine will grant herself a bond of life” sounds like a soundboard cuz she does it so much 😭
I was hoping she'd have some kind of Parry mechanic like how she did with the bullets in that one cutscene. Imagine this:
-Shielders like Zhong and Layla are pretty much limited immunity (shield health) for an infinite duration (due to short shield skill cooldown)
What if chlorinde was the opposite and was like this, where her skill puts her into a parry stance:
-Unlimited immunity (no decreasing health of her "shield" (Parry stance), but with a limited duration (maybe like 3-5 secs of staying in the stance). So basically she could negate all damage for a few seconds by parrying everything.
But then once the stance ends after the few seconds, she'd zip between all the enemies that hit her when in that stance (kind of looking like Kek's ult) and do electro damage to them with a thrust attack or something, making for a parry/counter combo + being good at closing distance.
yeah but it really would be basically a 5 star beidou (even the element is the same!). only parrying and not charging attacks is too inefficient with many bosses and enemies being able to get stunned, not even mentioning how some attack too slowly or just circle around you for a while.

I think Finale will be effective enough for her unless you're planning on C6ing her...
Harmonic Whimsy is clearly going to be quite powerful for her, especially combined with Finale, but it looks like Golden Troupe will also be quite a decent boost, and 2pc could pair decently with 2 pc Gamber (if you're fine using 4* artifacts) for a total +40% to skill DMG.
All in all, I'm excited to see what she brings to the game.

Harmonic Whimsy set seems perfect for how she functions but how much exactly is max 54% "increased DMG"? I'm also curious about Echoes of Offering set since all her attacks are considered Normal Attack DMG if she has a dedicated focus on an ATK build. Either set it sounds like she'll have their effect bonuses constantly triggering. Assuming Harmonic will work with her Burst when Echoes won't tho.
Fragment of harmonic whimsy should be her BiS. around ~7% to ~5% better than other sets. Echoes becomes her 2nd best set in a non quicken (aggravate) team. Since aggravate/spread is additive damage and makes echoes perform a bit worse. On most teams though, Echoes is either 2nd or 3rd best set.
i whaled for alhiatham. i whaled for shogun. i whaled for nuev. i whaled for furina. i whaled for arlechino.
Sadly for my wallet i have no choice but to whale for chlorinde.

i wanna know if the electro NA and e in her state scale with the E talent or NA talent bc if yes then there is no reason to lvl the NA talent but if no then it needs lvling
her E works the same way as ayato, it has it’s own set of multipliers that take over so you can leave the NA unleveled.
Now my question is;
Does Xingqiu/Yelan burst work with her ElemSkill? Cause it could be a good news for HB teams and not just Aggravate...

If Clorinde can work with Furina, does that mean she can use Marechaussee? I have such good Marechaussee artifscts but I literally don’t have Neuvilette. You could argue that you could use it on Hu Tao but I don’t like put Hu Tao in a team without Zhongli.
I have my Marechaussee on Arlecchino even though it’s not that good on her because my only Glad set is on my Ayato, and I use Ayato quite a lot.
I think she can but you might overcap on crit rate since
Marechaussee 4 piece gives 36% crit rate
Clorinde's ascension stat is crit rate + she has a passive(5:34) that gives 20% crit rate

this is only the beginning of beta. there’s a lot of room for them to buff her so I wouldn’t be worried about it right now.

yes you should be able to. The crit rate stacks can only be activated if your BoL is equal to or higher than 100%. If you fall under 100% bol, you won't be able to get new stacks but the existing stacks will remain until their stacks ran out. Clorinde should be able to mantain the max stacks during her on field time.
Can we use marechausse on her ? I know we can use her with furina to decrease her hp, but how do we increase her hp ?
i think the new fragment of harmonic whimsy is better since her kit clearly juggles the amount of bond of life that she has instead of her max hp, plus she already ascends with crit rate

Im confused. She needs bol equal to 100% of her max hp. But the bol bar shows only halfway full. Isnt 100% of her max hp meaning that her bol bar should cover her full hp?
From what I understand 100% bol covers half of the hp bar if I’m correct

depends on many things but still mainly your preference. do you like using bursts? if not arle is better as her's is more of a emergency button for your health, if you do chlorinde is better for free damage. it really just depends on preference and teammates that you want in your party too. im also in the same confusion where i dont know who to choose lol

So she is cyno TF, the chev teams have the problem of Xiangling CD of burst, doesnt help being the only pyro off field and Thoma is more a down grade in terms of dmg. Quicken has the same problem as cyno, multi waves. And the passive about reactions, you can trigger the same reaction 3 times and get the 3 stacks
Idk baizhu is good for multiwave.
Clorinde in Aggravate is definitely much more comfortable to play compared to Cyno, because the duration of her infusion is ~half that of Cyno's.
Essentially, Cyno has to stay on field even after the first wave is defeated, whereas Clorinde who has shorter cooldowns and infusion duration can swap out and come back quickly. She's more of a quick-swappy short window of damage versus characters like Cyno or Xiao who remain on field for almost 20s.
@@putent9623 Baizhu somewhat fixed it, i wouldn't say completely because Cyno still outlast him and i find his off field app to be pretty meh, that can also be a problem since in this case he's not holding deepwood to maximize his buff.

The pronunciation is Clo rand, soft r, don't know how to explain it, it's French. The English va voices change the sound to Clo ree and, not correct. But your pronunciation is correct, not perfect because French sound is unique, but that's not the point you are the only one pronouncing her name right.

Similarly, Mondstadt is based on German culture;
Li Yue is based on Chinese culture;
Inazuma, on Japanese culture;
etc.
Characters from each region have names that reflect that culture and are pronounced accordingly.
