I added 1/2 teaspoon of chilli Cayenne Pepper for some fire and just WOW ❤ honestly these comments show just how privileged a lot of people are and they really should be ashamed of themselves for saying this meal is disgusting when a lot of people resort to food like this when they can't afford a bunch of other groceries... also if you can't make a simple meal like this taste good, you don't know how to cook 😊

People really need to stop putting oil in their water when boiling pasta. A rolling boil will prevent your pasta from sticking together. Yes, oil will help with preventing the pasta from sticking together. You know what else it prevents from sticking? Any sauce you put on that pasta. It will not hold nearly as well. You don’t need the oil.

I always on a budget (well not always) and live alone. I think this recipe not so terrible, and could be better to treat the eggs as topping not mixed it with the sauce. But hey they will still mad too...

She said that it was wrong to put oil in the water. that doing that would make the pasta slippery and the sauce would not stick to pasta latter. I did it bc after u drain the water and just let it sit the pasta would stick to each other. Now I rinse it in cold water and leave it in the colander. I don’t throw out the water so later I can warm up the pasta as needed.

My mom and grandma always added egg to the leftover pasta. It was actually not that bad.
For anyone wondering, pasta alla carbonara is made with egg(s), but you have to be careful as you want to avoid getting scrambled eggs, but you want the mixture of egg and cheese to cream up when you add them to the hot pasta. Not sure I'd want my pasta with scrambled eggs as in the video.

Tried this, it doesn’t taste bad, it’s just the ratio of noodles to everything else is so outta whack that it leaves them tasting pretty dry. You’d need to either cut the amount of noodles in half (at minimum) or double up on all the other sht (also at minimum).

...the amount of oil in the sauce will lube it on the way out, I guess that could be a plus. It sounds like a night of diarrhea. The sauce is oil with the barest amount of seasoning, tomato paste, and 5 tablespoons of fat in it. The pasta and eggs are really the tamest things here.
