I picked this up for 899.99 at Costco earlier this month - I didn't see your review before I bought it - I am only a light gamer, so given the specs/price combination I couldn't resist. Several years ago I bought a more powerful gaming PC for my son from Cyberpower and that machine lasted a long time and performed very well, so I felt comfortable with the brand. I have been using it for a week and am very pleased with the performance! I haven't read great things about the GeForce RTX 4060, but again, being a light gamer and using this computer for other things (Microsoft office, streaming videos, etc) this configuration hit my sweet spot. Thanks for the great video - I just subscribed!
Honestly most of the negatives about current GPUs is more based on price. They all perform well. And if you're a light gamer than this rig is perfect. I bought a really nice prebuild from Cyberpower 4 years ago. Just recently upgraded the GPU from a 2080ti to a 4070ti (the 2080 was fine performance wise, I made the mistake of not checking which make it was when I bought the PC and it's a blower card. Very loud. Very very loud lol).

This is honestly a great deal. I don't really have anything bad to say about it. You could probably build it cheaper yourself with a couole better choices, but for a shelf bought, prebuilt.... Pretty solid.
I'm not gonna lie, I bought a cyberpower PC around Christmas time and I have been extremely happy about it. It performs really well under stress and hasn't given me any hiccups.
I found the best deal at costco for my gaming laptop. Has a 12th gen i9 rtx 3060 16gb ddr5 ram, and a 1tb ssd for 1300. It was currently going for 1800 on other sights
My current system is a custom built from Cyberpower. I only went with that because GPU's were unobtainable for individuals at that time unless you wanted to pay scalper prices. I essentially specified the same parts for it that I'd have gotten had I built it myself. It's been a wonderful system. It looks like they've improved their third party prebuilt systems in a few areas. The power supply isn't utter trash and they aren't using the horrible 120mm AIO making upgrading the cooler easier. The fans appear to still be non-pwm. The case is the same low airflow one they've been using for years. It seems to be a solid PC though.
The stock cooler does work fine at first got about 70c acetate on really any game, after awhile the temps started to spike, during a stress test 97c , not good at all, and minecraft ran at 92c and dropped to 85c after 2 min use, i said screw it and bought a AIO water cooler, works 10x better for only 80 dollars mincraft runs about 50c stress test 66c max, so much better, and i have the AMD Ryzen 7 5700
Was thinking about buying this when it was on sale for 899. I don’t have a dedicated workspace so I was hesitant. Just recently the Lenovo Legion pro 5 with 32 gigs of ram, RTX 4060, 1 TB SSD, and RTX 4060 went on sale at Costco for $1199. All those specs in a laptop for that price was so perfect I had to pick it up. Thing is built like a tank so it’s a little heavy but I don’t mind that at all. So far I’m happy with it and it’s more than capable of anything I need from it.
Please dont be upset at my question, but how would this compare to a PS5. I am looking for something that will definitely be better than a console without having to upgrade for a while. Could I possibly increase the resolution from 1440 and still get decent fps?

The rtx 4060 is a card that I'm not sure I would want in a pc. But whether it's bad or not depends on how much you paid for it and I'm not in the US so not sure on pricing. The CPU I would love to own.6 performance cores and 4 e-cores(I think it's 4) gives it a little bit more performance for other tasks than just gaming. Myself personally would build my own PC. There's just no way I would buy a prebuilt and let someone else have all that fun getting to build it. The one thing I did really like about this prebuilt was they didn't just stick some rubbish power supply in it which can happen when buying prebuilt PCs. Because often the PSU is not visible, it's an easy item to cheap out on.
@@jdspencer60Ya if they just changed the name to 4050 and took off a decent amount of $$. I would only get it if the price was right. They really missed the opportunity with this one. Over pricing and under performing GPU.
I bought this exact thing in the beginning of January 2024 and in a month switched the 4060 to a 4070 Ti Super, had to remove that front block off thing to make it fit, and changed out the cooler to a Thermaright(?) P.A. to actually cool the CPU. I was hitting high temps with the horrible cooling from that Cool Master cooler and dot of thermal paste that it came with. Oh yea and I added a 750 power unit. But now I play it on my 55" 4k TV at max settings and get generally over 100FPS on games like RDR2 on max settings, and over that on COD, cyberpunk and darktide. I think upgrading the CPU to a 13 or 14 gen i7 would be my next upgrade but for my first gaming PC in over 15 years this thing is fun.

The one thing I did really like about this prebuilt was they didn't just stick some rubbish power supply in it which can happen when buying prebuilt PCs. Because often the PSU is not visible, it's an easy item to cheap out on.
The coolest thing I've seen in a while is those 4060's that have an NVME slot built in to the back of the gpu. not necessary of course but neat
@@jdspencer60 4060ti*, but yeah it is a great addition for literally an underwhelming gpu, but hey
it's a fine gpu, it's just overpriced.
Man what 😭 i run rdr2, god of war, warzone and other games on max settings. Same pc, 0 issues all around .. if anything i would upgrade the fans. I play on a s34j55x ( samsung 34 inch gaming monitor )
@@StashingClips I’m running them at 4K on a 55”
@@pewpewdru that upgrade was more a preference thing tho. They work great at 4060, might as well buy a more expensive pc or custom if you’re spending that much upgrading one thats already 1k+
@@StashingClips … why? This pc would have cost more prebuilt the way it is now than how much I spent on it all together.
That fart was majestic,it caught me off guard.
I bought it for $899 a week ago. It's pretty good. I'll probably upgrade the cooler but other than that it's not bad.
i got this exact pc and i love it so much.
Is it still running good? Because im planning on buying it soon
its running amazing and i dont regret getting it
Alittle over 1,000 I don’t have 200$ lol that’s not cheap for me at this time
Costco selling pc hmm is everyone gonna sell pc now
theyve been selling pcs and laptops for decades now lmao, sometimes they even get new consoles for ~$50-100 cheapear at launch
that victus actually looks better than some expensive options
A 4060 is supposed to be 300$. To pay 1,000 for a 60 class rig is a rip off.
its 899

Best video to date. Really, really, really, really, extremely satisfying peel.
11:43 "And this PC from Costco, solid. Just like the pizza, solid." Pretty sure, not like what he dropped after peeling off the plastic, liquid.
"Do you want to eat at the food court or not?" 😂
I’m actually kinda shocked at how this pc performed. I’ve been watching too many videos of people installing huge fat GPU’s in their systems and haven’t really looked into just how well some of these smaller budget gpu’s actually run games!
I actually bought this from Best Buy a day before Thanksgiving for $900! 2tb storage. Great starter pc.
My local Costco in California, removes the GPU from all their display models, because they kept getting stolen during the whole crypto/shortage bubble. That policy is still enforced.
You live in California, let's not pretend it was only because they were in demand at the time.... Stores literally lock up laundry soap there
They are currenty in high demand there, but for a different reason...
Yup! I also live in California and I’ve heard about that. It’s high crime here is nuts.
Hi I am planning on getting a xeon processor and an amd radeon rx 580 but idk if itll work can you do a vid on it or even just reply with some info
apex has a direct x 12 beta that can be enabled with launch options that would improve the performance even more so as well.
Lots of love from Lexington
i undestand youre trying to push the oc but we also want to see how it will perform in our use case which is performance mode
7:33 that LTT screwdriver plug tho ❤
if you could pick one best budget pc
what would be the best one?
Oh you didnt fight over a turkey it was pumpkin pies
