Some kids are gonna have one heck of a childhood. It's like what it felt like for many people when they played Super Mario World for the first time
I was thinking this same exact thing. Thinking back to how fondly I remember New Super Mario Bros on my DS and kids now will make the same fond memories with this game instead.
Super Mario World might still be one of my most favorite games to this day. Excited for my kids to play wonder
@@KevinHernandez03 Yeah but imagine... if you have some fond memories with NSMB, this new generation will be absolutely spoiled with SMB Wonder. It literally has the same vibes as Super Mario World, which was the SMB game that was most full of wonder (no pun intended).

I really didn't think I'd like the online aspect. I mean having other people in my level but it's not intrusive at all and there's something so charming and fun about helping others through a level. I can't believe how much fun it really is!
Co-op is more fun than competitive but it has that competitive option too
I mean if you played Dark Souls online, it's basically the shades from their but for a platformer. Which imo should get implement into more games. It's a cool feature.

Been playing this game for the past 5 hours and this is by far the best 2D Mario platformer in my opinion, it embodies all the great features from the best Mario bros games and still brings so much more to the table, and I’m only up to world 2 (and the special world)!!!

Thank You Nintendo for finally making a completely new proper 2D Mario. I have been waiting one a very long time after so many years of ports and even before that the reusage of content in New Super Mario Bros. 2 and New Super Mario Bros. U always left something to be desired. But now it's finally here. A brand new proper 2D Mario that looks wonderful and well worth the wait.
This is such a hype train. No one is going to be talking about this after 3 days

For anyone looking in to buying this game, please buy it, it’s so much fun, the multiplayer makes it even more fun, it makes it feel so more lively and chaotic, the puzzles, the wonder effects. It’s a perfect game, the only down side I’d give it is the final boss battle was a little too easy.
I just got this game, and it gives me memories when I used to play the original mario 2d games… glad to revive my childhood again😢

If your on the fence about picking this up, your already missing out, this is not the regular cookie cutter 2d Mario, Nintendo really stepped up on this one and you can literally see the Mario movie inspiration, definitely a 10/10
I'm over 50 and I am buying a switch plus this game. I grew up on Sinclair Spectrum 48k, Sega MegaDrive, Atari 2600, Wii, Xbox but I never had Nintendo. My time has arrived!

Alright, so far I have played 50 minutes of this game, and I have to say this: IT'S AMAZING! This has to be the best 2D Mario game ever. And one of the best Mario games ever.
The online function is straight up genius. I’ve had many fun interactions with other players. And thank you that you finally made new music. I’m so tired of the NWMB ”dum dum!”-humming
Finished this yesterday and had such an amazing time. Came very close to beating SMB3 as my favourite 2D Mario.

It's soooo good, it's been a while since I enjoyed a 2D platformer as much as this one. I couldn't stop playing this great game until I 100% it (yeah, some people say that I play games too fast).
