No branch has the career flexibility or opportunities the army does. They promote faster because of how big the branch is. You can now choose your duty station from alaska, to italy, Germany, korea, japan, colorado, texas and more, you can go to arctic school, Sniper school, jungle school, airborne school, air assault school, ranger school, sapper school, pathfinder school, halo, dive school, if you wanna be billy badass theres ranger regiment, special forces, civil affairs, psyops, delta and even ISA. I mean you can be a cook for 4 years and then try for special forces, you can litterally make your career as easy or as hard as you want it be. It is litterally be all you can be.

If your about to get out of school and have zero idea of what you want to do in life, the military is for real a good idea. Youll get training, a job, housing, your bills can be setup for auto pay via DFAS, its not a bad gig for some young kid fresh out of school with no plan for life.

Don't get me wrong now,we definitely had guys on shaving profiles, especially when we were overseas & everyone was broke out,but that sh*t was still expected to be as close as you get with some electric/battery clippers even if you couldn't use the og PX brand 1 bladed hand hatchets. 😂

@@elevenb6967 exactly right. I get a kick out of civilians who very obviously have no clue about the military beyond jacking it to "the 300". Almost none of us who had/have REAL jobs,& were/are regularly deployed &/or constantly in pre-deployment training/certification had time to stay in the gym &/or eat right. I was but a lowly armor crewman after they canceled my previous MOS (cable systems (mostly 26 pair &/or fiber optic ☎️) installation/maintenance,which is now completely obsolete) and almost all of us are STOCKY guys from flinging 40 pound bullets all day. Same for arty & mech inf guys. Almost Every *light* infantryman I've ever met looked like they were starving to death,& support MOSs were all over the place. Every single one,on active duty at least (NOT guard or reserve weekend warriors)
male or female, tall or short, rail thin or fat as a cow/BARELY making regs or slightly outside of them, were passing physical fitness tests every few months that would kill these pissant civilians who make jokes bc very, very few of US look like John Cena. 😂😅

Air Force is considered the best branch to join because of the quality of life; training, on-base amenities, barracks, food, and benefits.
Air Force personnel have it much better off than every other branch, but Army especially; the quality of life of Army personnel is considerably worse. In fact, it's so bad that a rumor was started that Air Force personnel get compensation for having to stay in Army barracks.
Depending on your interests, the Army may be best for you because of the better career growth, but if you're looking for a comfortable stay, Air Force is absolutely the smartest decision.

My sister doesn't like to see guys with facial hair and will ask me when am I going to shave. I'll then ask her if she's going to come and tend to my ingrown hair. Of course she says no. It's also been awhile since she's asked.
I was turned down by a couple of trucking companies in the early 1990's because I have facial hair. When one of them, J. B. Hunt, changed their policy they started calling me and sending paperwork in the mail. Even after I was medically retired in 2018 I got them for awhile.🤦🏽‍♂️ I told their recruiter not hiring someone because they have facial hair in my opinion is a form of discrimination. It wasn't my choice to have the kind of hair I have.🤷🏼‍♂️

@fenty4140 that's too long for a profile. The profiles are just for razors and bumps. He could trim that down much more with clippers. Never saw anyone with a beard that long in my 12 years in
