This is in my country, i never thought that such a tournament as this could take place here, but then i thought "of course, it is Punta del Este", the most overrated place in the country, where the rich people go to show off they money and feel like kings and treat normal citizens like crap. @@qwaszx2 they don't live there, they only go the first 2 weeks of January (summer here) and they do whatever they want, some of them, mess with they country laws and don't care because their money solves everything in that city. Look about 10 years ago, i went with my family there and we had i very pretty Peugeot 306, it was an awesone car for us, we loved it. We parked near an ice cream shop to buy one, and some high status people were walking buy and one said "look at this people's car, it's the crapiest poor's car i've ever seen" and other replyied "yes, you're right, don't even look at it or we may have bad luck". And we just stared at them because we couldn't believe what we lived there. I mean not all people are this way but you feel neglected and being looked like weirdo in a lot of places there. I don't have problems with rich people. I have problems with the ones that mess with you. We know some people that have a lot of money and they are great and we are friends. Uruguayians are not this kind of people, but some of them seem to transform when they step in Punta del Este, that happens a lot more with the tourists. Look i know my country and i know it isn't overrated (well in terms of values it must be the most expensive crappy country ever but only in that way it's overrated), it has some beautiful places that they don't even spend money to advertise them and in there people treat to like everyone should be treated, you worth the same that everyone else. I'm not a poor person i'm a midclass person like most of the people in the country. Just think what a real poor person would have felt. While I generally agree, I must point out that some such folds are justified for 2 reasons. First, if you’re at the final table, the question is not IF you’re getting money, it’s HOW MUCH money you are getting. If there’s a good chance someone else can be busted without you risking any chips, staying out just guarantees you a higher payout. Second, if you know someone is playing extremely tight, these hands become marginal, at best. They might be worth seeing a flop. But, any flop that hits them is likely to hit a tight player’s range, too. That makes it as good as a coin flip on who flops better. In cash games, things are very different, because you’re not thinking about just holding on to move up the ladder.
@@oldsoldier4209 exactly but you can also use this icm pressure to aquire more chips and secure yr way up the ladder then marginal hands can be usefull if u dont get any action back and just steal the chips because of the fear you just decribed by yr opponents .. its just another way of looking at it..
