“Travel Map with Tharanga” is not only a simple travel documentary programme, we use Resource persons such as Naturalists, Lecturers when needed and we are trying to manage this as an educational documentary.
“Soba” is one of the well-known travel documentary programme in Sri Lanka which was nominated as the Best Presenter award at the Sumathi Award Ceremony and the Best Documentary at the Raigam Awards ceremony several times.

I am extremely happy when I saw this video.
I spent 3 days in this beautiful lodge about 2years ago.
That would have been the time this present management took over I presume.
I still remember the lovely time we had.
The location being very central and convenient you have access to the entire sinharaja forest and waterfalls in a very short period.
The management and staff was excellent and courteous.
They provide and even you can request for any special Sri Lankan dishes if you wish.
I think their speciality is promote everything Sri Lankan (meals,games, way of life ,even bathing in the river or under a waterfall and other recreational activities etc ).
I still have a fantastic memory about this short stay and now have a desire to visit again after I saw this post.
