Altroz diesel power is ultimate than petrol. I own Altroz diesel and I'm totally satisfied with the performance. Mileage is damn good @eco mode 25-27 is achievable. Diesel noise is common and no need to worry about that. We are not going to do meditation inside the car to keep it silent😉 car driving is actually to enjoy the thrill and performance. Altroz is purely top class in Diesel.

1. Engine pickup: Initially Lenient & promising after 2000+ rpm
2. Mileage: City-13 to 15 & Highways/long drive- 17.5 to 21.5 (kmpl)
3. Stability: Great/Excellent
4. Dynamics: Excellent
5. Storage: Good compared to its competitors
6. Erganomics: Good
7. Stability: Excellent & cornering is too good
8. Braking & safety: Excellent (compared to its competitors)
9. Design: Both exterior & interior are great
10: AC: Excellent cooling
11. Service(Car & Customer service): Strongly has to be improved a lot lot lot...
12. Engine noise: NVMs are good upto speed 100 kmph...
13. Music system: Excellent
14. Seat capacity: 5 adults
Altroz is a great car to go... Petrol Engine(drivability should be like, go with the flow, gentle & lenient)... If you need a punchy engine go for Diesel one(4cyl + 1.5 ltr engine)...

Hi bro I bought Tata altroz diesel last October 2021 vehicle is performing well I am getting mileage of 30 km in Long Drive My cruising speed 80 km/h.
City mileage is around 23 kmpl

How about naturally aspirated petrol engine i heard engine pick up is not good it's underrated engine compare to turbo varient. Other wise super car and also NVH very noisy during driving ? I guess it's 3 cylinder engine

You can't go wrong with a Tata car these days and Altroz is no mean different. It has got the right ingredients for a premium hatchback and hope they provide 1,5L engine for the petrol variants to attract the enthusiasts 😊
Anna super review , one more negative point ground clearance only 165mm compared to other competitors bin segment it is very less. So more chance chasis will scratch on speed breaker with full load . Other than this the car is really good ..
That's only on papers bro. It's suspension is stiff and so 165 mm is not an issue. I had Swift vdi but altroz goes on spead breaker without any issue where swifts bottom almost touches, the same speadbreaker

The most stylish hatchback in Indian market
I just bought Altroz Diesel. had a short 20km drive in Kanchipuram, and I gotta say that It went above and beyond my expectations.
My main criteria are Ride quality, budget, features, and mileage.
I got altroz XZ diesel so it cost me 11lakh. the cheapest diesel car with all necessary features. so already ticked 3/4 boxes for me.
My main concern was ride quality. heard that is does a firm edge. indeed yes on rough roads on low speeds it feels a bit stiff but not too tiring. As a bonus in larger potholes it glides over like magic. I dont understand how it works but it truly is magic.
Highways is where it truly shines the engine with the torque coming in as early as 1300rpm is amazing. the suspension even in the rear is super comfortable at speeds. no movement in cabin.
NVH is where it really surprised me. the new bs6 phase 2 car is way more silent than the one i got for the test drive. engine noise, suspension noise, road noise all were non existent. almost Hyundai levels.
Overall i am satisfied with my purchase. Will update if this gets enough traction.

Hi bro...I too bought xz diesel on July 2023. I felt the same about the suspension.
I would saw plz start the car once push button shows green light because no vibration while starting
Also try using Extra green diesel from Indian oil which will be smooth and less noisy with mileage too...
Also if ac cooling is less, turn on circulation button.
Please share if u have any tips.

I would like to hear your opinion on dust getting collected in the rear window.
and I do get small front bumper scrapes on tall speed breakers.
I would advice you to be safe with the seat plastic because my pant got caught and broke already. costs 1400 rupees to change.
also do take note of cooled glove box its a little port in the glovebox which can be opened or closed. if you feel too much air gets to your foot even in front throw mode. do close the cooling port in the glovebox completely.

I have Altroz petrol, I have gone through very bumpy hill drives too. Not even once I felt ground clearance was less. It is good enough for even very big bumps on the road. Not at all a problem.

Altroz has good build quality and high speed stability but lack in refinement and service. Baleno is all good but build is not match to Altroz. If ur requirement is milage and city na go for Baleno else Altroz. Also u can try Altroz iturbo is same as Nexon.
