I don’t care if people complain that you give out too many Ordinary Adventures stars, if you a made a list (or Instagram account 😏) of all your Ordinary Adventure star foods I would definitely make it a challenge to try them all! Another great vlog, makes me want to go back to Hawaii! 🤙🌺🌴
We’ve thought about doing a list but a lot of food we try is seasonal and not there all year or ever. Maybe we’ll make a list for stuff that exists all year
Kitra - You were quite a trooper! I’m prone to motion sickness, so I understand how annoying it can be to feel that rotten when you’re trying to enjoy your experience. Kudos to you for powering through it. So glad that you came out of it with great memories to share about. Thank you both for bringing us along on your adventure! 🦈
Triple D!!! yea Guy is from Petaluma no? My “boomer” aunt seemed to think so she’s from up there too. But maybe it’s just that he has a few restaurants up there
...I’ve been putting off watching your latest Hawaii videos because Oahu is such a special place for me. I’ve had a really rough few years and I’m very nostalgic for the island. So I was afraid of getting sad. But you guys did it again! Between Peter’s awesome production values, Kitra’s awesome visual story telling, the places you go to and how you guys see them, and of course the great vibes you two put out. You managed to make smile and laugh about something I thought Id be sad about. Great videos, guys! Mahalo. 🤙🏾 🤙🏾
Love your videos! My wife and I have been to Oahu 3 times and thanks to your videos we have done things we would have never thought to do. Also, shout out to North Shore Shark Adventures. Such an amazing time. Can't recommend it more.
I find it amusing how Peter mentioned that we don't have to deal with falling coconuts in California, I had someone visit me once who wasn't from California and had never been here before, when they saw all our palm trees they asked me if they had coconuts in them. 😂 I was like, no they aren't that kind of palm tree lol!
TED’S BAKERY!!! 🤤 a necessary North Shore stop. Their bakery items, also the mini chocolate chip mac nut cookies (usually in cups by the register) are unreal 😋
Awww poor Kitra, but well done cause being sick and having all them sharks round you bless, but what an amazing choice Peter choose to do,all the foods you ate looked so delicious, loved this take care ❤️❤️
Hawaii local here: when I go on a boat (usually for fishing), I take Dramamine the night before. I find that I’m less drowsy than taking Dramamine the morning of. I still don’t get sick. Also, this is the first video where I didn’t know some of these places, so thank you!!!
Well I’ve binged all of your Hawaii and Cruise videos in a week! I even watched the Galatic star cruiser vids and I’ve never even watched Star Wars! 😂 I have absolutely loved every second of them. Thank y’all for being so awesome and down to earth. Glad I found y’all! On to watch more! 🌈❤️
👍 the popular ones are all great but I noticed when researching that most videos and lists were just those places and Hawaii has so much more to offer so we wanted to showcase some other places as well!
Y’all are so inspiring! Thank you for showing us some local spots. Kitra, I kept talking about you guys to my husband when we were on a cruise recently. And when our cruise hit rough seas (13-15 feet for 24 hours), I felt terrible and nearly got sick until I remembered we bought Elemis inflammation gel from the spa. They told me to put some behind my ears if feeling seasick and sure enough, it instantly reduced my queasiness to a manageable level. One might call that a pro tip! ☺️
Finally got to catch up on some of your videos……. This was incredible! Kitra u were so brave. So sorry u got sick…. You’re such a trooper! ❤. Incredible videos! Thanks for sharing this adventure w us
I’m so impressed you found Paalaa Bakery it’s the locals go to before heading to the beach ; next time check out the store next door for their delicious crunchy fried chicken and yummy bentos to go~ half the time we don’t quite make it to the beach, we end up eating the chicken in their parking lot 😂 really enjoyed this vlog.. made me miss home ~ props to you for going in the shark cage ~ never done that and never will I’ll just enjoy the experience through you
So I know you guys did this months ago and may not even see this, but I booked a tour out of Hale'iwa this last week because of your video and I had to come tell you our insane story 😂. The first group of our tour had all just gotten in and I was trying to situate myself to the bottom of the cage when it started to shake a lot. Well, it turns out one of the sharks came at us full steam, broke the plexiglass window on the cage and got itself wedged in the window frame. When I moved to see what the chaos was, I was face to face with the shark and it managed to unwedge, swim between my legs, thrashed a bit more (its tail was between my son's legs, he said he got hit 18+ times) and finally freed itself through the bottom bars. By the time I realized that it was actually happening, it was over, but I have bruises and scars from the whole ordeal, lol. We have no idea why the shark was swimming at us full speed like that, but holy crap on a cracker it was insane!
The footage of the sharks was so surreal looking. Just pure blue, with the sharks moving around in the foreground. It almost looks like bluescreen footage. I couldn't do it tho. Being stuck out there while sea sick would ruin the entire experience for me. I'm so glad I got to see the video of it at least!
You are so brave getting in the water with the sharks. Sorry you got sick. You were a good sport! I lived in Schofield Barracks right there in Wahiawa .. you pass right by it on your way to Haleiwa. So north shore as always a quick 20 min drive.. we would get shaved ice and go sit at the beach .. fun times and this video brought me back to those days. Thanks for sharing your Hawaiian adventure with us.
The bird sounds in the background def reminds me of Hawaii. And the history of the Paniolo is amazing. The big island has had cowboys for over a century
Kitra, as a fellow seasick person? (Seasicknesser? Seasickee?), Meclizine has changed my life! It’s not as sedating as Dramamine, and it gives me greater motion sickness protection. It’s sold over the counter in the US, so you don’t need a prescription.
I feel like any place that gets more than 1 ordinary adventures star is a must visit! Definitely have to visit that seven brothers if I ever get a chance to go to Hawaii!
I love the north shore as well…. However my family wanted to leave immediately after we went to the food truck area, the vibe is different and you have to be open to that type of environment. I love all of Hawaii it’s so beautiful!

Thanks for the video. First of all, you can eat the whole shrimp if it's deveined and deep fried. Secondly, you can easily peel it by taking the tail off first, you should be just able to pull it out.
Next trip, the garlic shrimp is a MUST at Ted's Bakery. By far, the best on the North Shore. The loco moco there is also incredible...oh how I dream of Ted's Bakery.
@@OrdinaryAdventures I went to Ted's before Giovanni's. It was a big mistake because Giovanni's was just nowhere near as good.
