Thank you, I'm glad to be alive in a time where I can listen to Doug Bradley read H. P. Lovecraft, truly the highlight of my year so far, thank you Doug.
Loved this! I listen to Lovecraft audiobooks quite a bit, and your rendition of this story was a stand out. It's the voices - like you can hear the difference between Carter and Warren and Whoever That Was In the End. Warren's despair and Carter's panic really comes through. I also love how you lean into the big reveal in the end (one of Lovecraft's habits is telegraphing his big twist endings and then drawing out the reveal by a whole bunch of 'oh shit it was so horrible' sentences so that sometimes I can't help find it funnier rather than scary). In this version, I liked how you rolled with the timing so that when it hits the ending, it brings home the whole horror of the experience. Hoping for more spooky short stories!
I feel spoiled, again. And how many times I have been saying this under those videos and every time I mean it as much as the 1st time. I am both honored and spoiled and thank you sharing your precious time with us. 6 am, feeling as I do, this is like balsam to my soul. Thank you bottom of my heart.
Thank you Doug, Today is my birthday and I was missing Kimberly so much, but while I was watching your video as you read another great story. I can feel her presents with me.
It is a genuine pleasure to listen to your reading. Thank you for sharing with us. May I inquire as to the type of incense you are using? (Curiousity is killing me!)
Thank you, Mr. Bradley, for this reading. I took my own copy of this work and read along with you in great rapt and enjoyment. I look forward to more of your readings. Cheers!
Love you Mr.Bradley. And you reading Lovecraft is always a delight. I’m not sure if you will read this but if I may make a request, could you read a short story by Clive Barker? Perhaps the Midnight Meat Train? Regardless, hope you love your best life sir 🖤
Doug little off topic, but how would one go about getting a legitimate autograph from you. Do you have an online store where one could buy memorabilia from your acting career.

Большое спасибо Вам, Дуглас! 🙏
Thank you.
Weird, I read this story just a couple of hours ago. C'thulhu may have guided me here.
I like this Dough 🙂

A truly wonderful reading! As a small factual note, however, H.P. Lovecraft died in 1937, not 1947.
My bad. Slip of the typing finger. Thank you!
